SF4 PC: The Custom Skin Mega-thread!

Finally I am able to give something back to you guys.

Its not much, just changed some of the pictures in the character select screen for Fei Long, Cammy, Sakura and Rose. Here is a preview:

P.S. Unfortunately my skills in Photoshop are limited. I just couldnt manage to get the edges glowing like the originals, this will be no issue once the whole set is finished but right now they might not fit in 100% with the originals. But hey its for free right :).

EDIT: Just for the records! I am NOT the creator of the pictures themselves. I dont know the artists who created these masterpieces but all the credits regarding that goes to them!

These are superbly done, though like most dark skins they don’t pop out as much on some levels. If you do any more versions of these I’d love to see a white or grey one. That would be ill.

I wanted to make a video of Cable with the chinese Deadpool that is on sf4mods, but the file I downloaded ended corrupted (twice) so I made one myself…

Not just your game, I’m having the same problem. :crybaby: I reverted to the default .cos file and it worked but I imagine it doesn’t look quite the same as it should (I don’t really know what the .cos file does to be honest).

Well basically, it gives her longer hair, bigger boobs, sharper face and a longer flap (or wathever you call it).

So it really is the cos file huh? geuss I’ll try some more, see what I can fix, but as I’ve allready said, it works perfectly so far (though I still am using SF4CMM)
Guess I’ll try and see what happens when I simply replace the file myself.

It’s a pain that no one I know actually has this on pc, or it would be much easier to troubleshoot :wasted:

basically, SF4CMM managed to get it to work, so I simply used the files SF4CMM used, and it worked like a charm, I’m going to reupload the files again (hopefully for the last time)

YESSSS!!! Sub Zero!! So full of win!! Sonya Blade Viper anyone? How about Jax Boxer?? We need some more MK love… And some more Marvel skins would be awesome too, I’d like to see some sort of Iron Man mod.

I’ve fiddled with the face subtly, but I’m still not satisfied… I’m going to take a break for a while.

I honestly like this color you were going for a lot more.

About the face, i think a little less volume on the eyebrows, the removal of the buttchin and a little tweak on the nose will do wonders.

Yup. SF4CMM is a fantastic tool. It ALWAYS do the hard work as a program is supposed to do.

I really don’t understand why people still manage their skins manually, having to worry about .cos files, unlocking color slots, etc. With SF4CMM I have the entire wiki database available in-game for all characters. Doesn’t that sound amazing?
