Method #1: Microsoft Powertoys
This is the easiest and most idiot-proof method.
Use the old Microsoft Powertoy called “DOSHERE”. You can download it (1kb). Unzip it and then right click the INF file and choose install.
You can use the newer MS Powertoys. Download the Open Command Window file and install it.
then u can right click a folder in XP and command prompt will be there.
This was posted on my Youtube. If anyone can confirm this as a working solution I can add it to the Tutorial. I wanna make it look cooler too. Better font. Cool banner shit like that. If anyone is interested in having their texture on a banner for the tutorial version 2, I’ll give you credit. (Please make an honest effort)
Also looking for ideas or tips for getting creative looks or unique layer mods, like my Akuma veins. I wanna post a tutorial with advanced photo manipulation methods basically.

Doesn’t work. Unless someone can show physical proof with detailed instructions. This is going no where. I say most of the pictures people see are model edits.

I finished my first mod ever, it’s just a simple ghost Ryu. It came out ok, and it works perfectly. I’m going to try to make some good ones so I can post them here.

As it says in the first post, no. The file needs to be edited depending on which colour slot you wish to use.
Adding an alpha channel to the image likely isn’t enough. I haven’t looked into SF4 skin editing yet but I’m guessing it is looking for values not simply in the diffuse or normal mapped file.
I’ll look into it when I get home.

It looks like this one (like the Flower Dress Chun) has an additional file you need to copy. Instead of just dropping in the “ZGF_01_02.col.emz” file you also need to drop in the provided “ZGF_01.cos.emz” file. If you only do one, it wont work.
Make backups of both though because if it’s like Chun Li’s Flower dress, it breaks all the other colors/costumes so you can only use that one.
