According to this site on fixing that error it may be that you have Vista with DX10 but sometimes you need to install 9 to get that file (and that both can be installed safely). At least that’s what it says…

Quick question, is it possible to change the color of Fei’s hit flame? Meaning, when you hit the opponent, instead of the opponent being on red/yellow fire, I kinda want that purple/blue (shadoloo) fire.
It would be awsome if you could add the fire effect (attack) to say, the flash kick. But that may be impossible?
I am sure both are possible

Use SF4CMM and don’t worry about that anymore (wow, I should work making ads or something, hehe). I mean, its good to know how these mods work, but the tool is so good that I think everyone should use it. Give it a try. Check the sf4mod wiki.

EDIT: do something about the eyes. the idea is fine, but they look strange in the close shot you posted here.

the problem for the eyes is, i cant get away the “glow/light reflections” on the eyes.
so i thought on adding a light “blueish” glow to it if anyone got an good idea on fixing it, i will finish it when im back from work.
and if not, ill see what to change and after it you all can get the access to it.

anyway, the blue eyes are a nice and sutile touch to the skin. my suggestion is that you keep them even if you can’t make it look better in close shots.
also, if you still want to add any details to the skin (I wouldn’t), be very selective and stick to black and blue (keeping more black than blue). don’t touch the red! bloodier does not mean better! specially in your case.
