The 1up guys were doing the LV1 on Hard trial mode. Theres 6 trials in easy that are accessible to casuals and will make you better and give you rewards. The hard mode challenges in SF4 don’t reward you at all, they’re simple there for fluff and ‘challenge’.

not only that, spacing has to be PERFECT and the first hit has to be timed damn near perfectly… if not you get pushed to far away and even if you do time the combo right AFTER the first hit, your roundhouse will be to far away and will make contact in it’s later frames, thusly not comboing. nothing about that combo seems EASY. 'cept for the cr.mp x2.

fuck that i dont care if it’s a one frame link. i saw that video too and i was ripping on those norcal fools for not one of them being able to do it in the 5 or 6 minutes they had on a standing dummy cpu.
i was at vid last week and told mtsac kid and sanchez about the vid. so before we could talk shit we decided to try doing that combo with ryu. we all pulled it off within a few tries on a cpu that actually moves around and blocks. that shit is easy get the fuck outta here with that one frame link stuff.
lol no one even uses that lvl 1 combo anyway. There’s much more useful ones when you connect with a jumping fierce.
