Runaway Akuma is too good. He’s already got an air fireball. His teleport needs to have some cooldown frames or something.

Yeah, you gotta have an announcer. Shit, they should bring back the guy who announced MSH Vs. SF - he was very enthusiastic about his announcements.
You set the announcer to say Round 1 Fight and KO in the arcade version, but turn off all the dumb shit he says during the fight. There’s one option for “advertise sound” and “narration sound”. I think it’s narration sound that’s the annoying one. I confirmed this months ago.
I loved how all the kids cheered when sakura won.
Also in the Akuma/Gouki mathc; the Gief actually got in on Akuma he just kept spamming greenhands, trying to predict air fireballs.
With the akuma gief mathcup of course it’s a little in favor of akuma, but good giefs will be patient and poke an akuma to death imo.
These exhibition vids from Capcom always had the announcer off, even way back in the beginning when the arcade version was released in Japan.
gilley, thanks for the confirmation on being able to turn off the announcer’s voice. It will be like the old loketest days, where all the announcer said was “Round XX, FIGHT”
Interesting, Momochi did a lot better against Daigo. His playing wasnt as smooth this time around, though the matches were good.

Those matches against Daigo were casuals.
This was a heavy weigth tournament, Momochi was probably feeling the pressure, so he played waaay more defensive. His execution was still smooth, he just turtled his ass off.
A reverse OCV is achieved when the last member of a team comes back defeating the whole rival team.
