Hmm, a broken neck? Wouldn’t that be the first time they used something that resembles a fatality? I mean, with the abilities people are tossing around you could assume someone would eventually die, but you didn’t ever actually “see” anyone die in a fight did you (in the game)? Maybe if you count Gen fighting Akuma, but that’s not actually a specific move that does it.
Both Gen and Akuma’s special moves are supposed to kill.
My point is not whether or not a technique is “supposed to kill” but a graphical representation that’s easy to see. There’s a big difference between snapping someone’s neck up close and simply doing a Fist of the North Star type attack that has a bunch of flashes during a black screen. Nothing that I can remember up until now comes so close to looking like a fatality, although if the player isn’t actually knocked out and the match over, it’s a moot point.
Technically though, if Fei Long is still able to cry about losing after that, he didn’t die yet…but how many people usually live after having a broken neck?
makoto’s command grab was also the snapping/crushing of someone’s neck

I dunno, watching Zangief piledrive someone in SF4 looks really painful. The neck is broken when Gief slams the person into the ground.

Fei’s Ultra is literally Hot Fiya. Gens other Ultra is amazingly bad ass to. Fuckin Tornado man.

Darn, I was hoping Fei’s ultra ended like the Bruce Lee vs Ohara fight. Still awesome though.
