There is going to be a Japanese tournament called Super Battle Opera that will feature a game called Hyper Street Fighter 2, which is basically a mesh of all the Street Fighter 2 games put together (so you can have HF Ryu fight against CE Ken, or ST Zangief Vs. WW Blanka, etc…). I thought you might be interested in this, because some of the CE characters (especially CE Bison) are known to be very strong in this game…, but the downside to this is that there are qualifiers and the only way you will be able to play in the tournament is if you go to the actual qualifiers and compete in them.

Has Korea thought about competing in any of the SBO qualifiers yet? I’m really interested in seeing how they do on a world level… there is no doubt that they’ll be successful in one way or another.
I dunno why people are so desperate to make em switch to ST, i kinda like that somewhere in the world, some people are still playing an older version of SF2 at high level.
