sf2ce

thanks much

Thanks, all~~.

If anyone wants to play Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition online via Kaillera. Go to Anti3d server (ip: 82.165.178.145:27888).
You will see me and others like SRK, !, oldtimer, Astroboy, Enji, Noaffinity, Jinrai (and a few more I cant remember) that still enjoy playing this wonderful game.

I would love to help organize a United States SF2: CE tournament, but there might be a couple problems…

  1. Not many people play CE in the states anymore (either it is casual, HSF, or ST).

  2. No Arcade perfect version (someone can correct me on this).

  3. Support (people won’t play CE when there are other versions of SF2 out (this could also go with #1)).

If anyone has any ideas, how would you go about hosting a CE tournament? And how do the people in Korea organize their tournaments (and what are the turnouts)?

People would have to settle for Capcom Classics or SF Collection 2 for PSOne. That being said… It ain’t gonna happen. But DGV and Mokura are avid CE and HF players, so if you ask them their answer may be different.

Thank you very much!!
These days, I’m busy for publish a homepage for sf2ce gamers from all over the world,
it might be the basic structure for ā€˜gathering sf2ce gamers from all over the world’.

I really want to find CE gamers in America, but how I can find DGV and Mojura?

Search for them in this forum. Almost all gameplayers’ aliases are the same on SRK.

Thank you again. I love watching Guile matches. What kind of arcade sticks are in the cabs you use? Same as japan?

No.Here in Korea, alomost all of arcade sticks are same as US.
But specially, sf2ce in JungIn arcade,
(the main arcade where we play sf2ce)
sticks are same as US
but the inside, using ā€˜electrical copper contacts’,
not ā€˜micro-switch.’

And several months ago,
I bought a pair of joystick from ā€˜x-arcade.com’,
but I couldn’t use them in arcade
because it’s large than Korean arcade joystick frame.

I’m sorry for late reply,
'cause I’m busy for editing sf2ce homepage thesedays.
It’s for the sf2ce gamers in the world,
(wow…it’s really hard to make a webpage!)

and we sf2ce gamers could held ā€œWORLD SF2CE TOURNAMENTā€ soon.

because things are bigger in america. j/k
i heard alot of things about the x-arcade and personally to me it felt decent. i only wished the joystick is a little more in line with the buttons.

I’m looking forward to purchasing another stick something more in line with the american layout vs hori’s japanese layout and so far i’m interested in the mas mini super pro stick.

Wow…,Who is it?
That’s what I want to talk about!

nice matches…

btw, i’ve played on korean sticks… my friend came up to NY from korea a while back and he couldn’t stand the american sticks… personally, the korean sticks IMO suck balls…

it’s from massystems.com

their site is down right now.

good stuff. i love watching guile.

Thanks for watch the vids,
and the name JMY…
in my view, he is the best in play guile.

Korea_SF2CE, I have DGV’s information: http://www.shoryuken.com/forums/member.php?u=26677

Can anyone explain what happens at 1:33 in this video? I did a doubletake. Watch closely.

Guile’s sonic boom and Sagat’s low tiger shot absorbed eachother, yet Guile’s sonic boom is still continuing. This has happened to me before, but only when I’m closer to my opponent. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or it is a last moment timing scenario.
