Well, as long as 1.02 makes the online a better experience, and gives me new colors, I don’t care. They can take their time with 1.05. I can wait. I did it with AE 2012; I can do it again.
Yeah. Let’s hope for a better online experience, and a release one of these days. Besides that I don’t really care about the patch number.

I already tried, but so far I only get full games in the results and not the patch file, or I just don’t know how to use that website. 
I guess I’ll just wait for the release since the patch is useless unless it goes live anyway.

Just gave it a shot, it works fine (steam version here). But be warned you can’t sign into LIVE after installing
Here is the info on 1.02:
-Online sound update, which will improve the quality of sound when playing online matches.
-Tournament support update, which will expedite the gem selection process with the help of a new number wheel system.
So it is the netcode fix that we needed MOST. At least that is good news, PLUS it does NOT introduce the Rolento Glitch.
You should just wait till it officially rolls out on GFWL probably next week if you play online.
Does it give us the new colors? It’s hard to get creative with just monochrome…
hmm not sure, I got that from an eventhubs post, it didnt say anything about any new colors.
I think the Rolento glitch is in 1.04, but hopefully we no longer have to encounter that.
Oh. Well, even if it doesn’t give us new colors, as long as the online is improved, I’m good.
And even though we aren’t getting 1.05 yet, there is a plus side. We still got Jin’s swag kick. 
There is indeed new colors, 8 of them.
Red, Blue, Green, Grey, and 4 glowing colors. I remember Glowing Purple and Glowing Teal, but I can’t remember what the other two are.
Green is one of the new colors?
