…but I like the game…
AE costs 9.5$ in Russia atm.
SFxT 13$
Well, you can’t play online without a Live key, which you can only get by purchasing the original right? o_O
I do too.
It still does not deserve to be paid for.
As if there’s any reason to play online. Enjoy your horrible lag, and, in the absence of horrible lag, enjoy your auto-block gems.
Wow, that’s cheap. It’s at around $33.08 here based on exchange rate. Pathetic economy.
Well, except for those.
In my opinion, whether or not it deserves to be paid for is somewhat irrelevant. This is a game where a lot of people poured a lot of effort in giving us a product. They spent a ton of time and money to get this project completed. I support that effort by buying the game. A game that I find to be a LOT of fun to play. And in the end, I find that that’s the reason for any game purchase. Not whether the game is good (which is subjective), but whether the game is *fun *(which is also subjective).
And while I may support the effort that Capcom put behind the game, I am not going to support the DLC. I will continue to enjoy the game that they gave me, but I’m not giving them any support on the DLC side of things. I want Capcom to know that they gave me a fun game, but I also want them to know that I do not approve of their methods of DLC.
Boycotting the game entirely is just going to send the message that they should give up on the game. I think we need to help Capcom to fix this game. It’s got a ton of potential; it just needs to be tweaked.
This coming from a proud, yet unofficial member of the Street Fighter X Tekken defense force.
^ They won’t fix the game. Expect the on-disc-DLC to be rolled out as scheduled and then this game will be abandoned.
They fixed Street Fighter 4, and they fixed Marvel 3. I have hope that they will do the same with Street Fighter X Tekken, but without releasing a whole new version.
The difference here is that those games were successful. SFxT bombed, and it bombed hard. There MIGHT be a balance patch in the future, but it certainly won’t address things like the overpowered gems. They made them intentionally overpowered so that you would buy them, to be able to properly compete. They wouldn’t “fix” something that makes them money.
You have a point…I’m just trying to look on the positive side of things. I really, really like this game; I want it to do well.
Although, I guess if all else fails we can “fix” the PC version…
I like the game too, and that’s why I’m not standing for Capcom’s bullshit.
And we’ve been TRYING to fix the PC version, but it’s rather difficult.
I can understand that.
Anyways, to get back on topic, any news on the 1.05 patch for PC? Or 1.04? I heard something about 1.02, but nothing official…
1.02 is the patch that was just leaked. I can confirm that it “works”, but it doesn’t DO anything because the game still thinks you have to download the DLC that it just fucking installed.
They screwed a lot of fans with their stagnated sequels as well as that thing with Mega Man. They should redeem themselves by fixing their current games instead of abandoning them and then screwing us with a new batch of games.
They should get the connection thing to work at least.
i was hoping for a full to date patch at once on pc, well, better than nothing i guess
No wonder half the playerbase are russians. Holy crap that’s cheap.
I had to shell out 35€ for this bloody thing. Geez…
Well, that’s nice and all, but at the time of purchase, I was willing to pay the sum, assuming the game works online. If I knew what I was getting, I would not own a copy to this day.
I just found it funny how absurd the price differences can be…oh well, different markets…
SF4AE costs 16 $ if you buy just the CD key. SFxTekken costs 20 $ the same way

Sven confirms that 1.02 is the new PC patch and that they HAVEN’T EVEN STARTED WORKING ON 1.05 YET!
What a crock of shit.
Ok what is different in 1.02?
Netcode fixed?
If Yes if no
unknown yet.
