Most likely. I think it is unfair for many players to have to go against a character that they have zero experience against because their copy just doesn’t have that character, whereas the Megaman player could have plenty of experience against that character. It would make things worse if the character was unexpectedly good like Rufus was in SF 4.
In any case, I’m thinking of trying out some of the new characters like Raven and Hwoarang, but if anything I may just stick with my Ibuki/Vega team.
I played this game with vega yesterday @ a tournament in germany.
Its very wierd to touch this game for the first time as a sf4 players , some things still work, others lead to magic combo instead of special cancels, etc.
Vega will problably be pretty good in this game, his reach is great with pretty fast pokes and can always lead into magic combo.
Links feel entirely different in this game as do some moves like cosmic heel walldive etc.
Was tag cancelling his FBA or Izuna drop possible?
Megaman is definitely banned, console exclusive characters are always banned.

Man yall crazy! I hope there will be more players use Vega SFxT the more there are the more i get to see in tourneys and root for them. Im already sick of the lack of Vega players in SSF4AE12 tourneys as it is now! The more Vega players i get to see on stream doing new stuff the happier i’ll be.
If Vega doesn’t have any I-frames on Scarlet Terror, people won’t use him.

Well it looks like you’re gonna have a problem. 
If other people are stopping you from playing your favorite character then somethings might be wrong with you… ain’t nobody gonna make me change my main.
I always joke that I wish I liked a high tier character, but I always gravitate towards the low tier. To me, Vega is just fun as hell to play and if Capcom sees fit to bring him back to CvS2 status, then so be it. Look at it as having a 3+ year head start.

lol funny stuff, when i choose my chars in any fighting game i always end up, unintentionally, using mid-low tiers… and now i’m going, always unintentionally, with probably top tiers? Vega/Law (cause i love bruce lee) was the last team i was thinking about after Vega/King (cause i love tiger mask anime), LOL
eheh not completely like that, people won’t stop me playing vega (i use vega even on 2x and he’s quite good and used there) but it’s a weird feeling to see a lot of vega players around
