Since alot of people here play on GGPO Im asking here.
I looked in the computer and handheld matchmaking threads tutorials for GGPO but they were not specific enough. Currently using Windows 7 btw could somebody help me out? Trying to get some old school ST going since I’m missing this game alot and want to play it badly.

GGPO doesn’t work that well on Vista/7. It sure would be great if someone could update it someday but support seems completely dead

I can join if someone challenges me, but not the other way around.
That’s because you probably ether don’t have the correct ports forwarded on your router or haven’t forwarded any ports at all.

Is opening and forwarding ports the same thing? I feel like I’m so close to getting shit started but not close enough, gonna try once more, I saw a couple of familiar names but if you all see my name DO NOT start a match with me, I’m trying to testing to see if it will work.
EDIT: Yep opening and forwarding are not the same thing aint working yet.
If you are hosting and they can’t connect, then you didn’t do it right. If it’s the other way around, they are the one with the port issue.
