Yeah I’ve looked through the entire thread but I can only find vids of everyone except Kikuichimonji lol. And youtube doesnt return any results on the search for Kikuichimonji/Magmafisher either :(. I just wanna see a wide variety of Seths, they all have their unique style. Love onlinetony213’s vids. He’s really good!
I’ve only got a few videos up and they’re 6 months old. But here they are:

My mixups have gotten a lot better since then and I don’t just jump fierce five times in a row anymore. At least I don’t think I do? I’ll try to get you guys a new vid soon.
Thanks! Nice vids. 6 months old, you must have improved a lot since then. Looking forward to any new videos you or anyone else might upload of Seth.
I made this video last year, but i was banned at SRK at the time ( =P ) so don’t know if anyone from the Seth subforum ever got to see it:
Doubt it’s very useful but you never know when you have super and someone goes for a desperate ultra at point blank range =)
Got some new vids of dmg vs fightnationex. Here are my fights.

BTW how do you edit your links to give em differant names?
Also tips for El Fuerte match up? I know you can bait and punish ex guacs but anything is just guessing.
ugh, poongkos seth mashing scrubs relentlessly brings tears.
Hey guys, just found these.
Desora(Gouken) vs.???(Seth)

Don’t know who the Seth is. Might be a different player in each video, does some cool things though.
You can sort of make out the name and it’s pretty clear that it’s the same player in each vid. Good matches.
Seth vs Goukesn, thats a 5 5 matchup(righit?) and also the funniest match IMO. I rember playing Osiris gouken, its a good matchup and fun, what do other seth players think?
I thought it was 6-5 to Seth, but I don’t know for sure. I do enjoy the match up though, I think Seth vs Gouken is fun for both players.
6-5!?
But seriously, it’s probably even just because Seth’s strengths play well against Gouken’s weaknesses (mix-ups, wake-up and pressure shenanigans) and the same goes for Gouken (big damage on combos).
If anyone can point me in the direction of some good Seth vs. Bison and Seth vs. Chun matches, I’d be grateful.

Ha ha, I sent him the exact same links yesterday over pm! lol!
Ok went to another tourney yesterday, with my own stick this time so i did a bit better (got 5th place =D ) this time around. Here’s the playlist for all my vids of the tourney http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=6C7F27407F1E272F
Or use this link if you’re only interested in Seth videos (so basicly just me, since i was once again the only Seth player there) : http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=0C364A8CAA3D0EED
Again, feedback is appreciated!
Work on hit confirming cr.strong & low forward, there was a few times were you carried on the combo even on block, I know it’s a little tricky to stop due to muscle memory but this is a must
You need to apply ALOT more pressure in some of your match-ups.
YOU JUMP BACK WAY TOO MUCH!!!, sorry but I can’t stress this enough. I’ve seen you jump back when:
Jump roundhouse on hit
The opponent jumped at you
The opponent whiffed a reversal
Point being all these opportunity’s to punish your opponents went to waste and Seth really needs those to gain momentum and against some chars that’s the only way your going to get some decent damage on them
Thanks for the tips, a lot of it i already know but i’m not able to implement it (like stopping when i clearly see people are blocking is a major issue) and tournament environments are still bad for my execution (i think i didn’t hit a single legs>headstomps in corner and i missed the cr.MK in j.HP>cr.MK>legs combo a lot so i ended up setting myself up for easy punishes) but i think i’ve improved a lot since my last tournament at least =)
STOP JUMPING! That’s my number 1 tip. When in a position to do damage you always jump backwards, and when it’s unsafe to jump in, you jump in (note how many ryu super and ultras you ate). I actually thought your first match was a button check until it went to the second round.
Second: Learn Seth’s bnb combos and block strings, you never use block strings and instead often do unsafe moves which also net you less damage… and same goes for combos, e.g. when you jump in hk, c.mk xx legs is NOT a follow up you should ever be doing, it does much less damage, stun and is less safe than c.hp xx lp srk > stomps plue you don’t get a reset. The reason all your matches seem to go on almost to timeouts is because you do zero damage, you just jump in do a tiny amount of damage and jump back out again (e.g. all that d.mk spam - which is pretty unsafe). In a similar vein, throw isn’t a good punish for whiffed moves.
Third: Use ultra more, when you have ultra it’s SO easy to land on most characters you should just be looking for that opportunity, you miss it so much, and if your opponent is just going to stand at fullscreen throwing hadoukens focus them to build ultra then use it.
Fourth: Maybe not a terrible thing but you never use tanden engine, it’s a useful tool.
Fifth: read your opponent more. If for example with your first match that ryu was just throwing out srk’s ALL the time, block and punish - e.g. if you’re in the middle of a blockstring, stop and block, wait for them to whiff srk then go in to a higher damage punish.
edit: Oh, also watch the clock more - there were a couple of situations where you were about to win by timeout… and you choose to wall jump in. I think both times it worked out for you but even so, that’s incredibly risky when you’re about to win anyway.
Thnx for the tips HawkinsT. Yeah i noticed that d.MK isn’t a very good idea in the middle of the map, and maybe i was just lucky to get away with it often in the corner, and cr.HP after jumpin HK seems like a better idea, since i can SRK on hit and teleport away on block, but again in trouney’s i tend to go back to basics (which for me is running away) and use stuff that works online against scrubs a lot =)
I’ll work on it =)
