read it twice and you’ll see that he’s just toying around with no vital information. I think he just can’t give a clear answer since he has none. he’s the pr guy, not a tester and in particular not a gen player.
I’dn’t get my hopes up much. Gen will be buffed but I think it’s more a slight tweak but a “overhaul”. He also mentioned that “gen isn’t about winning” which is a sad statement, but at least gen will have better chacnes nonetheless. the two target combos alone are awzum.
he wont get buffed much. they are supposed to be nerfing the origional 16 a little more. that will in turn make gen, and a bunch of other “low tier” characters better in the arcade edition considering they have a harder time against most of them than with non origional 16’s. i still cant really beat zangief or rufus for the life of me
Man…I just read that “Gen isn’t about winning part again” that’s like a slap in the face to all Gen players lol. it’s not funny but I couldn’t help but laugh. I know he won’t get mad buffs, I just would like those target combos now instead of waiting for them
Yeah but I recall all the discussion among Guile players before Super came out, when SK said something like “Well, Guile was good in the earlier games”. The Guile players were in uproar 'cause SK basically said “Guile was good before, so it’s ok that he sucks now”… And then he was buffed to top tier. I don’t think Gen’ll be buffed even to solid mid tier, but let’s take these words with a grain of salt, people.
That’s…not really gonna help make it any better. If they just keep nerfing people instead of buffing the ones that need it this game is going to get even more boring than it already is. Hell I’d be happy with Gen just having Gekiro not whiff in combos & the final hit of Gekiro not whiffing on Sakura.
