He’s probably stepping back from a stressful job, but I’m pretty sure he’s not going to be missing stuff like EVO.
He is still part of the community. I’m sure there’s still a chance for us to hear him commentate.

i dont think will see darkstalkers…maybee after sf5 next gen, i think capcom crapping out and throwing in the dice on making anymore fight games for a minute, i dont think most of the kids on here screaming for darkstalkers never even played it, but great cast and ideas
Not to sound conspiracy theorist, but this is not the first time I have heard this sentiment and I’ve honestly heard it from people who I would normally consider quite credible… Adding to Seth to the mix isinteresting…
Also, Seth isn’t dishing anything, you know he signed an NDA as part of his contract when he joined the company so that any inside information he has he can not take to a competitor. Non-compete clauses are quite common in this type of work.
Everyone should look at the good that could come of this. We might finally get to hear what he *really *thinks. Was there ever actually any hope for SFxT? Why the hell was Jill nerfed? etc. etc.
Also it sounds like he’s leaving on good terms and if he’s moving on to bigger and better things more power to him. I wish him luck in the future.

I had a couple discussions with Seth on alt.games.sf2 back in 1994. He was friendly and articulate. Even back then, he had a better grasp of SF2’s mechanics than most people.
All I can say is too bad it wasn’t Sven. That guy is a company man through and through, but Seth always maintained his integrity. Much respect.
