well… that depends. if you count Gen’s Gekiro as just 1 attack,then you’re wrong. Same for Juri’s dive kicks.´

Usually, anything that requires an extra input counts +1 to scaling, usually.

Crouching Fierce allows for stomps resets outside of the corner and builds more meter than standing fierce.

Attacks scale by attack input, with ultras and FA’s having additional scaling.

Today I did the coolest combo on accident. I was playing some sim, and I did Boom fadc, then he landed on my boom, then I did j.mp for a 2 hit combo, I was like omg :o

You’ve never landed stomps off of a boom before? It’s really cool when the opponent lands on a boom somehow (usually trying to back jump away).

btw guys, ex.SRK>dash>U2 is possible.

I tried this, for like 30 minutes only to find out it does less damage AND drops your opponent with frame advantage over you…

I did it in a match earlier today. I got ultrad.

Doing it without the dash is always better, because dashing causes the hit that sends the opponent flying away to miss.

No, I know that, I do c.hp xx lp boom fadc dash 2 times then stomps dive kick to get them to the wall more, plus it looks ba. Yesterday, I did sonic boom fadc j.mp lol It’s not useful, but it was random as hell.

I’m not sure if it’s been posted but you can cr.hp> lp boom > EX tanden >whatever if you’re near the corner. Did it on accident in training mode today vs abel and cammy. I don’t think it works on faster falling characters like gief though. With cammy, I pushed her to the corner, jumped over dash twice, jump back over and start it point blank.

You can do that anywhere on screen, near corner you don’t have to fadc.

i havent been able to followup after the EX tanden though midscreen thought an actual followup looked cool since it does more than the cr.hp >ex tanden near the corner

Of course s.hp xx sb FADC is the same, and c.hp > ex.tanden should work at that range anyway.

So, thought I’d ask as it seems something that’s relatively ignored and I’ve never seen in an actual game… Anyone actually find s.hp xx sb FADC c.hp useful?

To me, the spacing seems far too specific (ignoring how much of a bitch the timing is, and execution so as not to get srk).

every now and then I’ll go for that combo if I’m bored even though I have no clue which characters it works on. Needless to say I’ve never gotten it to link lol.

It’s actually pretty good and there are a lot of setups for it like after tanden engine do c.lp c.lp s.hp boom fadc c.hp srk x2 headstomps x2 dive kick. Other set ups, after u1 boom teleport c.lp s.hp boom fadc c.hp, and cross up c.lp s.hp boom fadc c.hp.

just a questch: Does cs.hp xx SB, FADC, L2 Crumple, lp. engine, into whatev’s work on everyone?

Also cr lk. cs.hp is bloody hard but it lets you confirm into a boom FADC crumple or hp srk just off a single cr lk on everyone. Need to see people use that more.

It’s not a FADC because you don’t dash cancel. It’s s.hp xx sb xx FA2. Yes, it works on everyone as far as I know.

Cr.mk xx SB does the same thing almost. I’d rather do cr.lp -> s.hp as hit-confirm. Also depending on the spacing cr.lk xx cr.lp -> s.hp works. cr.lk xx cr.lp -> HP SRK works too but it’s weird.

ok so i just started playing seth and for some reason I can’t get my ex shoryuken to come out I always get the teleport and a random shoryuken does anyone know how I can fix this. Also I’m having problems doing the head stomps after a 2 hit shoryuken I’ll be very happy if someone could help me on that as well.
