I want to use 2 bars on someone by doing this
cr.HP -> FADC 2nd hit -> Ultra 2.
Any chance you can do cr.HP -> FADC and dash under your opponent?

I would guess in the corner you can, but would be timing dependant, so you don’t have to if you don’t want to - or just enter an autocorrect U2 motion - although in the corner I guess FADC isn’t even needed.
Why waste 2 bars though?
c.hp xx lp.srk > U2 works, and in the corner I just gave two meterless ambigous crossups straight after c.hp.
Or if you’re set on using 2 bars after c.hp why not just xx ex tanden for full U2 damage?
Or just cut out the cr.hp altogether and do s.hp xx sonic boom xx FADC, s.hp xx legs -> stomps.
Flashy dumb shits.
You guys think with you brains too much. Use your heart and do awesome stuff sometimes.
We’re playing a sentient cyborg that steals other fighters’ moves and has a Napoleon complex. We don’t have hearts.
I think Seth’s practical combos are flashy enough as-is.
Just looking for new things, being creative and seeing if we can stem anything from that. Among crazy ideas, sometimes there are good ones.
Is there enough hit-stun to do SB xx FADC xx Ultra2?
I thought the Napoleon Complex was short people acting tough
It’s been done on me yes, unless I messed something up and gave them a free ultra lol.
@JalapNo, I was able to do cr.MK xx Boom xx FADC > U2 on gouken. But I don’t know if it’ll work on any other character besides him and other huge-box chars.
You get what I mean.
I know neutral j.hk, s.hp xx lp boom xx fadc, cr.hp combos on shotos mid-screen but raw s.hp xx lp boom fadc, cr.hp does not because of spacing. So FADC ultra combos should work, but only if the boom hits a little meaty.
It works on all characters I’ve tested, just it’s spacing specific - you need to be at the very edge of where c.mk xx sb combos, which is a bit too hard to tell to get off reliably imo.
Sounds like this is in the near future
jf.HK -> s.HP xx HP SB -> FADC -> s.HP xx HP SB -> FADC -> Ultra 2
YAY!
Dumbest thing I’ve ever suggested!
HP SB -> FADC xx LP TE? I’m assuming it allows them a free out because they are in hit-stun and it can’t combo, correct?
I really doubt s.hp xx sb will work, I’m pretty sure you’ll be too close when you sb to be able to get U2 out in time.
Also you can’t combo tanden engine, correct.
Yeah, that won’t combo into U2 really. You’d have to go jf.HK -> s.HP xx HP SB -> FADC -> s.HP xx HP SHORYUKEN -> FADC -> Ultra 2
EDIT: Fuck all of us, we should stop playing theory fighter. I went to training mode against Ryu, did HP xx HP.BOOM xx FADC> U2 and it combo’d.
I have to theory fight:
I do not have a console
I do not go out to sessions
I rarely go to tournaments
Yeah
Hah, so it does, which opens up c.lk > s.lk > s.hp xx sb FADC U2 as an option also (355 damage). I’m actualy starting to see a small amount of merit to U2, although still if you can get off U1 it’s better imo.
btw while useless, for comparissons sake:
nj.hk > s.hp xx sb FADC s.hp xx sb FADC U2 does 491 damage against Ryu, which is 1 more damage than just nj.hk > s.hp xx sb xx super, where as
nj.hk > s.hp xx ex.srk > ex.tanden xx c.hp > U1 does 505 damage and uses a bar less meter
So basicly, while this doesn’t take in to account different setups for entering an s.hp combo, if you have 3 or 4 bars in a situation where you can get off s.hp then having U1 is an advantage, where as if you have 1 or 2 bars, U2 is an advantage (I guess s.hp xx sb FADC U2 does more damage than s.hp xx ex.srk > U2 though can’t test atm).
btw you can also c.lk > s.lk > lp.srk x3 > U2 for 283 damage I just found out.
That’s nice.
I just wish the Ultra wasn’t so inconsistent on juggling. It really pisses me off. AND I KNOW, capcom did it on purpose, for one single reason: There’s just 1 hitbox that does not have proper juggle points. It’s around the 2nd/3rd hit.
What this means is that if you manage to hit your opponent after a dive kick whiff high-up, you get a combo, if hes a bit too low he drops from the ultra midways and you’re FUCKED.
Capcom stuck that ONE retarded hitbox there on purpose.
I’m sure people have worked these out already but stuff I was playing around with today:
sb > hp super is it turns out completely hit conformable at full screen (I have been finding it easiest to hit confirm by watching how much the health bar goes down instead of the other player).
after ultra1, lp.sb > dpm kkk teleport > s.lk > c.mp xx mk.legs combos in the corner though with fairly strict timing.
after ultra 1, walk back > sb > dpm kkk teleport > c.hk combos at midscreen though timing is really strict.
Dumb experiments:
CH st.HK (1 hit) > cr.HK
CH st.HK (1 hit) > U2 = ~370 dmg
cr.HP xx FADC > stomp > j.MP > Stomp Stomp Stomp >Dive kick whiff > U2.
i dont know…
is there a list of characters that seths cr.fierce x jab srk -> stomps doesnt work on?
