according to the man working at EB games they are getting a full shippment of these controlers on the 15th. (except for akuma of course) so i went ahead and preordered them all.
Someone tell me if what I’ve done is weird.
I’ve had the Blockbuster exclusive TPB just sitting on my desk for the last couple days without having gone through it yet since I’ve been busy with school. The cover is awesome.
Just after my last class, I went to the local Blockbuster and bought them out of their TPBs (3 copies). When I go back home, I plan to buy out the others there (probably at least 2). Is this weird? I have no idea why I want to buy so many. Should I stop?
Is anyone else out there like me?
I can relate. When i went there i wanted to buy out the akuma controllers…
If it weren’t for the fact that i want to increase the readership to exponetially turn up profits for this comic, i would buy out the copies at my local comic store, but i did buy five copies of the christmas cover at Midtown in manhattan (at 5 bucks a pop , it’s a steal!) and i buy out holo covers of ryu when i can…
I do it as a collector and see it as an investment… i don’t buy out the TPB, but i do convince my friends to get them… so it’s KINDA the same thing… We’ve bought out my local BBs of the akuma controllers and most of the TPBs…
I think you might wanna leave some there unless you plan on buying out every single product Udon and capcom turn out…
If that’s your thing, then people like you are the reason ebay is so successful…
It’s your right to buy as many as you want, if you’re a fan do what you need to do…
Anybody have any information about BB’s in Canada who are doing this? I’ve called up 3 BBs in Ontario and none of them have the stuff… they said they only have the game. and how long is this promo going on for?
Hey Erik~ apparently I told my friend who lives in Vancouver about the TPB and it turns out it isn’t available there either… do you know of the specifics on the distribution of the TPB… it seems to be really erratic!
Thanx,
revvy~
I live in Wichita Kansas and I regret to say that I haven’t seen any Street Fighter stuff in any of our Blockbusters, we have about 7. I really wanted to buy the book too.
