General rules:
If a dispute occurs, it will be up to the general crowd’s discretion. That being said, TO will have the final word should there be any unresolved dispute. TO has authority to take whatever course of action he sees fit.

Once your match has been called out, you have 5 minutes to start the match.
After 5 minutes, the TO will give authority to the opponent who is on standby the choice to DQ, after an additional 5 minutes (total 10 minutes) you will automatically be DQed.

If you need to step out, ask the TO, if timing allows, permission will be given to move your match to a later time where you will be given another timer. (eg. come back in 20 minutes) If you do not come back within the time given for your break, your absence will be treated as if you didn’t tell the TO and your 10 minute timer will begin as stated above(leave your phone number to be safe).

See you all at Overture 14!

NEWS:

pre reg

pre reg please

pre reg me as well.

pre reg me please

Pre-reg #'s will be given soon, and pre-registration will end on Thursday, August 30th at 11:59pm. Don’t forget to pre-reg to save $5 and don’t forget to mention if you are bringing a setup to save another $5!

Also, don’t forget to bring copies of your games just in case we don’t have enough. We will run tournaments with as many copies as we can, and run casuals as long as we have copies as well. So make sure you bring copies, especially AE, UMVC3 and Persona 4 Arena discs. Thanks!

Pre reg me pls. I’m coming just for 3s cause im doing OT that day =[

Hey I arrived in Vancouver on Thursday with my girlfriend; we’re mostly settled now, and I think I’d like to come on down. Any idea how long it takes to get there from downtown? (I’m coming from Howe and Davie st).

Also, I haven’t shipped my stick down to Van yet, as it was too heavy to pack with my luggage. In Toronto it’s typically not a problem to borrow a stick from someone when your match comes up, but is that something I should be worried about here?

I got all your Pre-regs down so just come up to the admin booth and tell Brian your name when you say you Pre-regged. We have almost 50 Pre-regs so it might take a minute to find but it’s usually really fast!

Basics - if you’re at Howe and Davie you want to take expo/millennium line train towards VCC Clark or king George. From downtown, it takes about 30 minutes to get to Metrotown station where you would get off, walk through the mall towards McDonald’s and cross the street it is facing (Kingsway) and it is right above a store that has a big sign that says Shamans Jewelers I believe. I would allow for 45 minutes in case you get lost.

The address is at the top so try to google maps the route too. Skytrain fare is $2.50 for weekends.

As for sticks people are generally willing to let you borrow one so don’t be shy to ask!
