Its a three day event. Most likely, tournaments will be Saturday-Sunday, and Friday will be mostly special events and/or teams. We’ll make an announcement soon.

Lol wow, what a joke, stay free Wisconsin. Maybe you should move to Chicago Keits lol. I was pissed at first about the pricing in regards to when you registered at UFGT but after being there even for only casuals I was amazed how much work was put into the tournament itself. If you ever run a tournament your self just running a standard tournament is a lot of work. What Keits did was go beyond that, made a extremely enjoyable event which definitely merits the venue fee he was asking. Not even going to bother getting into your whole 2d game players dont want to think debate, good job making yourself look like a tool though.

We’d love the help. Running pools is such an important task, and now that we’ve micro-sized them, its not very demanding on your time if you volunteer. I don’t know how many people this will draw, but I really just want to have a great time in September (a month in which we have very little going on in the midwest).
As for moving to Chicago… if we had a train from Green Bay -> Milwaukee -> Chicago, I’d probably be there every other weekend already! A man can dream…

If the venue fee bothers you that much, then just don’t go. No one needs anyone on their soapbox. Enjoy the games or don’t, no one else cares.
Maybe the Amtrak would work but who knows how much that would cost! Try to come down to our GGA tournament and Chicago Heart 3 tournaments next week!
isn’t this tournament also renting out virtually the whole hotel meanwhile chicago heart is likely only renting out one or two ballrooms? It costs a lot more to rent out a whole hotel for 3 days than 1-2 ballrooms for 1 day.

I was informed about this by a few of the focus fire guys at EVO, I’ll definitely try and make it out. UFGT was amazingly well run, looking forward to seeing this one too.

Online registration is coming soon. There are taxi/limo services that aren’t too steep from the airport (and the hotel is cheap so it all evens out, hopefully). Please be aware that, while a ton of amazing special events are going down Friday, the tournament is Saturday/Sunday, so if you cant get friday off work, you can still come and compete!
The War tournament is going to be amazing. Dont miss it!!

*All monitors will be Asus for both fighters and shooters (70+ monitors total).
*Booths will be brought to the event from a variety of companies.
*Stream will be separately ran for both fighters and shooters.
*Top level players will be in attendance for both fighters and shooters.
*There will be plenty of giveaways and raffles taking place!
This may be the last Focus Fire & Keits event in 2011, so we are gonna make sure it’s the best one of the year!
