I like this duo, I think it’s alot of damage potential. But I only know basic combos with this team. Can any of you guys come up with combos for this team. I know about j.lp+tron, j.lp is there anything else besides that?
Also, When I drop tron down she pins the character then it’s all about a guessing game with what i’m doing next with sentinel. One wrong guess along with tron and ouch
But how would you rate this team, I usually have magneto as my point character. later
IMO I would rate sent/tron duo as one of sent’s best. That and sent/BH and sent/capcom. But the only problem with sent/tron is that she isn’t that good of a point character, kinda like sent/capcom. I think you just have to be patient with tron, since she has a lack of range but does good damage. But usually you don’t have to worry, since usually if tron is your only character left you opponent should be nearly done, same as sent/capcom (from my experience). Like you I’m kinda a newb with tron and have just started using her. My sent is quite good tho. Here are some combos I found in a faq (forgot which one tho).
Jump u/f, lp, lp, call Tronne, land on the other side, s.lk, s.lp xx rp xx hsf (you might have to dash in here) launch, air combo or your choose (Tronne Projectile) (opponent is crouching and expecting a low combo) You could also just do (s.hp xx rp xx hsf)xN or (s.hp xx hsf)xN if you have difficulty connecting the rp. This can be done after the first hsf instead of the lauch, or you could just DHC during the hsf.
Fly, fk, unfly, fk, call tronne, fly, before you hit the ground, fp, unfly, fp, dash in, s.lk, lp xx rp xx hsf (Tronne projectile) Then can you do what I listed above after the hsf, or whatever you want.
that duo is probably a 6 or 6.5 outta 10…it needs an AAA bad. sentinel could not catch storm if she ran away, it would have a semi tough time against magneto, a VERY hard time against a sentinel and a cable…this all providing they get to choose an assist partner too
my random ironman team used to be im/sentinel/tron…that team was alright due to the fact I had an anti-air for a mangeto airdashing or trijumping, a sent stomping, a storm sticking out a fp when she is about to come down from a long runaway, etc…i juss feel it needs an anti-air.
yeah; i mean i got a vid of him…but he also has an AAA which stops storm from running away and helps ALOT against sentinel battles. that is all im sayin; he needs an AAA to aid him…there is no way that duo survives without an AAA
well how about sent/tron/capcom. I think it works well, but its a bit too sent dependent IMO, since your sent has to be almost GOD like to win. But what do you think about this team?
Tron/Sent-Y is good/great, CapCom/Tron-Y is good/great , but Tron/CapCom-B doesn’t have a lot of synergy. Blackheart’s delayed anti-air can nicely cross up when mixed with Tron’s rush, etc - just generally helps her reset and continue to chip/try to set things up. Whatcha gonna do with Tron/CapCom? My bet is die, but try it and find out.
I particularly like Cable/CapCom/Tron, but I think Sent/Tron/CapCom is just a failed idea if you can’t manage to keep Sent alive (DHC to King Kobun?) for Tron to use.
I just started playing Sent/Tron. Any advice? I need some combos or attack patterns. My setup is basically just trying to get them to the corner, then pressuring with fly/unfly strings with Tron and occasionally go for a low hit. Anything else?
