i honestly cannot figure out how this is done, after fly do i hold a direction then hit LK, or just tap a direction then return to neutral then LK? it seems like if i hold the direction i just start moving and there is a great deal of time before i can hit the LK, yet if i try and tap the direction with various timings, i either stay in neutral like i never moved, or i move to much before i can act… this is a huge reason why i dont really enjoy playing sentinel, if i cant use him to 50% of his potential, then i just dont have fun…is there any advice i can be given? Somewhat Unrelated: i read that character specific things go to their respective character specific forums, but this new SRK layout is waaaayyyy to f’d up for me to even consider spending a moderate amount of time looking for such a thing
^ Do that as much as you can to get a better understanding of how it works and the timing. When I do my FF combos I always press either up+attack or up forward+attack.
That’s good that you can do it 9/10, should be proud of yourself. I know when I first started out I pretty much just watched others play and then tried it myself.
If you playing with Santhrax then you need to come up with a strategy to keep Magneto out (laser lockdown, frying pan (Hp while in fly), sj.lk FF–> Lk, Lk, dp.Rocket Punch, CapCom assist, etc pretty much keep away tactics) and chase Storm (I rarely see anyone rush with Storm unless it’s the last character).
Santhrax deals so much damage with little effort.

Yeah, Row does good damage too. I like to do:

[]d.lk, st.lp (2 hits) xxx FF–> lk+Magneto assist, hk, land, d.hp, hp.Rocket Punch (Pretty basic but it gets the job done, I love doing it in the corner cause then I can do my throw reset with Sentinel)
[]d.lk, st.lp (2 hits) xxx FF–> lk+Magneto assist, hk, land, sj.lk, sj.lp xxx FF–> lp, lp.Rocket Punch, lk, lk, dp. Rocket Punch (If you’re close enough you can do a grab reset)
[][After grab reset] lp, lp.Rocket Punch, lk, lk, dp.Rocket Punch (I can even grab again or do another combo, either or it deals good damage)
[][After grab reset] fly down, lk+Magneto assist, hp, lp.Rocket Punch[/list]
Just some simple combos I do that are effective in damage.
