Peach Beach Splash’s story is part of the series’ main storyline. They plan to continue developing new Senran Kagura games from this point on.
There are plans to add popular characters we’ve seen in the mobile game, NewWave G Burst, in Peach Beach Splash.
A Senran Kagura action game will also be in the works.
The end goal is to have everything from the series be a part of one big world.

With that releasing two months after School Girl Zombie Hunter, there’s no excuse SGZH not having multiplayer of the cooperative kind. I mean they even have EDF with cooperative features and hordes, so SGZH shouldn’t be left out of the multiplayer support. Tamsoft and Marvelous are involved with these games, so they can improve all their games with multiplayer added for all the content and modes.

After the end of Senran Kagura Burst, the storyline splits into 2 paths: Senran Kagura 2 and Shinovi Versus.
The storyline Senran Kagura 2 ended with Senran Kagura 2.
The storyline Shinovi Versus gets a continuation Estival Versus, and the new Peach Beach Splash is a continuation to Estival Versus.
Peach Beach Splash (and Estival Versus, Shinovi Versus etc) are not considered spin-offs but rather main installments.
The only work considered spin-off in the series is the Dekamori rhythm game
