For realz, if you are gonna derail anything, at least do it with tits.
well, its not easy to see with the eyes half open
The topic was the heroic actions of a man who made a choice that was well admired. I simply asked why can’t people make similar heroic choices in regards to how they treat each other. After all, if we can admire a man why not let his values be reflected in our actions?
I think asking such a thing is very relevant in a thread about a hero. I’m sure this guy would be honored if he knew others were trying to use his actions to bring people together and create a greater sense of harmony. I don’t see that as rude at all.
You can call it trolling all you want, but if you ask me I think a lot of you are just defending your choice to be an asshole. You know you don’t have to be that way. You know you have a choice and having that brought up can make you defensive. Doing the right thing often isn’t easy, and this guy is a great example of that.
I know a lot of you might think this is the internet, it doesn’t count. Everyone else is being a dick so why can’t I be one too. But I think that’s one of the saddest things about the world today. So much negativity just breeds more negativity. I was trying to push things in the opposite direction, and I feel that is the right thing to do. I know it’s not a very popular choice but I follow my heart.
If a hero cannot help us to reflect upon ourselves and improve our actions, then what is the purpose of honoring them to begin with?
Ep: 14; Argument about the hero. Matriarch tries to convince SRK to change, but that won’t work so easily
Will SRK change? Will her efforts work this time? Will their be another episode about her origin? Find out next week on “Feminist vs Misogynist 3: Fate of two posters”
