I spend most of the day getting destroyed by bosses.
Summary
First one was a boss named Jinsuke at the castle. He wasn’t a difficult boss overall but it took a while to get the timing to deflect his quick draw slashes. He went down quick after I got it.
I spend a while getting destroyed by the general who kidnapped the young Lord. I made no head way in that fight and after about an hour I decided to do something else.
I decided to go through the depths and ran into seven eyes. This fucking boss man. Getting hit with her gun almost one shots me, got snipers all over the place and her melee destroy posture. Took me a bit to figure which adds to kill and where I can fight her without aggro the rest. Forcing her into a attack pattern I can predict took a while. Her melee is either fast or have all the delay in the world. It a endurance test figuring her out. These boss fights left me spent
The butterfly lady and the drunkard have been the biggest hurdles for me. From piecing together what I’ve been hearing the next boss is the guy on the horse. How hard is he? Chained ogre was probably the easiest mini boss to me so far, but I’m still barely starting.
The guy in the horse isn’t very hard. You can use firecrackers to startle the horse, and the grappling attack will stun him. As long as you avoid his charging grab you’ll be fine.
Approaching the end game. I think I’m in or near the final area. Finally got the upgraded Shadowrun skill. It’s so fucking rad. Some of the end game skills are anime as fuck
Yeah you guys were spot on about dude on the horse. I think going the way I did made it harder on myself but by the time I got to him I already had upgraded power and vitality and a couple prosthetics. I beat him second try.
If the world is in sunset outside of that area, there is a really good place to grind exp there. Toward the latter end of the village there’s like a “farm” where two big dudes and a couple little ones are, but there are some hidden ghost-like enemies there as well if it’s sunset. If you go around from the back you can stealth kill one big guy, then kill the two little guys furthest in the back. At that point the ghost enemies should spawn so head back behind that area so they don’t see you. Their backs will be to you so you can easily stealth kill 3 of them and the 4th will get suspicious but you can still make it to his back in time. They give 620 exp each so it’s super efficient.
I uploaded my boss fights with Gyoubu and Lady Butterfly onto my Youtube. Here they are for anyone interested. I forgot to record Blazing Bull but honestly it wasn’t a very interesting fight (My fight, not the fight itself) so you’re honestly not really missing anything.
talking to an NPC lead into a boss fight I was completely unprepared for. Not talking to her will provoke her to attack because you ignored her. What a bitch
