Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - 'Additional Features Update' - 10/29/20

Who the hell even reads Forbes for VG reviews SMH

Laymen who fancy themselves business people.

Business people who fancy themselves hip.

Douche-bros who fancy themselves pro gamers.

Soccer moms with Ennui.

Game players who like to laugh at idiots.

They wrote the same article for dark souls 3.
And I read a big thread on another forum calling for the same thing and if you didn’t agree you were essentially called an ableist.

Sounds like whining and a lack of desire to improve. lol

This Jinuske of Saze dude is fucking annoying. Can’t even get one deflect on him and his damage output is insane.

Can you not deflect him? I’ve been at this for 10 minutes and not gotten a single one. I mean im sure just my timing is shit as they arent unblockables but still youd think id have gotten even one.

He can be deflected. His attacks so damn fast you’ll get clipped by the time you press the button. You can see a shine on his sheath just before he attacks if you need a tell. If you manage to deflect his quick draw 2 hit attack it will put him in a near posture break.

Yeah, as Hawkingbird said use the shine and just double tap basically. I actually just used the umbrella prosthetic, makes the timing really easy lol

I’m having way more luck just dodging to the left lol.

Edit: Got him.

Double edit: Genichiro doesn’t seem so tough. I was right he’s not tough, he just get to recover faster for no real reason on the second phase making him harder to hit. Kinda tedius.

Oh He’s 3 fucking phases? Come on…

Is it a good idea to use the snap seeds on the corrupted monk? The guy is an obvious illusion but I don’t have a lot of seeds

It stuns plus does a chunk of damage. You can use it to get several swings in, then repeat. I’d save for the end of the fight so you don’t waste em. Also “girl”

Any tips for Snake Eyes?

After she kicks you away she always fires her gun, so dodge to the side and punish. Her grab can be deflected but I always just ran from it to be safe and used charged spear attack(any of the piercing Spears) to punish.

If you manage to get to the poison pool idol statue you can sneak in a backstab on Snake Eyes with stealth.

I got the surgeon side quest and I’m torn about completing it. I’m not sure if it’s more beneficial for me to lure the NPC into the dungeon or complete his side quest. Fucking hell.

Think youre talking about someone else.

Anyway tips for the long armed centipede girrafe thing (the fuck kind of name is this?) Not really much time to counter attack this thing and it does attack for a while.

Your at Sendou temple? I got lucky with them. I try to land two swipes at them then I went on the defensive. I never had a concrete strat against those random assholes.

It took me two hours but I finally killed the corrupted monk.

Naw I’m in the Sunken Valley. I got him. Firecrackers easily one of the best tools.

Anyone got strats for headless? I ran into four already including one that’s underwater.

I’m was thinking of a different Snake Eyes. There’s another snake eyes boss you fight in the Depths. I thought you were talking about that boss.

Have purple gourd, have at least 3 divine confetti, wail on him, deflect his attacks(must deflect most attacks, blocking will still build terror), his attacks are really slow actually, you can often get one or two attacks in between his. When he disappears, keep jumping away to avoid the grab, in case he does it. The aura prevents dash and run but you can always jump at almost full speed.

For underwater, just dash around and punish the sword wave attack with a dash attack, then back the fuck away.
