Orbit and stay behind it as much as possible, spend more time dodging than deflecting on that boss.

I highly disagree. Deflecting makes the bull easy as heck. And it doesn’t have any unblockables. Trying to get to it’s back all the time just takes more time and makes it easy to get clipped.

Yeah I’ve tried dodging a bunch already and kept getting my shit pushed in. Gonna stand my ground next time I fight him.

Yeah, that’ll make it a lot faster. Once I did that I killed him before I even realized it.
Also, in the future, remember to always try deflecting unless it’s a perilous attack. Deflecting works against almost EVERYTHING. It really is the main answer to most things.

Yea I find the bull way harder when I try to flank him to his rear instead of just facing him down and deflecting his bullshit.

Lady Butterfly, difficulty wise, is an early boss. You can put it off for quite a while, but if you’ve beaten two bosses, now’s a good time before you start to get too strong to enjoy that fight.

Blazing Bull was my least favorite boss/mini-boss in the whole game. Fight was so annoying the first time around.

Been making pretty good progress. I went to the Ashina Reservoir, where you first start the game. It took bunch of tries but I beat the spear guy on the steps. That battle seemed like it was basically designed to test if you have your Mikiri Counter down. Dude was tough, but I killed him. I opened the gatehouse and got the spear prosthetic.
Then I beat the Longsword ninja dude in the well. That took a bunch of tries mostly because the camera angle is jank for that battle. When I did beat him, I hardly lost any life at all.
It’s really starting to click finally. I went back and beat Lady Butterfly pretty easily. Now I’m going through Ashina Castle, which is bad ass as fuck. Got the iron umbrella thing and a poison blade as new prosthetic tools, and found the midair deathblow move. I haven’t tried any of those new toys out yet because I had to crash soon after I got them. But tonight I’m going to kill all the fuckers.
