I’m assuming that st.lp > st.hp is a one frame link? In which case the punish had two one frame links and cost two bars. Pretty risky but obviously high reward if you can pull that off consistently. He could have just done level 3 FA, launcher, hp.palm, ex.dp for 370+ damage for just one bar and easier link. If he can pull that other one off all the time more power to him though.
st.lp, cl.hp is a 3-4 frame link.

Amakusa makes use of teleport a lot. I’d be interested to know whether the s.lp at 1:49 creates a specific setup or if he just wanted to do something confusing.
Kyoku uses that setup aswell, it gives a meaty setup for command grab.
Hm, I gotta go through some good Yang videos and make a list of teleport setups to test. Those mixups look pretty fierce.
