I’ve been thinking that as well. I mean a character that can combo into an ultra without meter from a command throw for 440 damage can’t be bad. Sei’ei enbu has probably a shit load of tricks to be found still too.

Yeah I noticed that too. Probably the divekick caused enough push back and the slow start up of Yang’s DP combined caused Seths DP to have fewer active frames or something.
nah, that dive kick was hella negative. he was probrablly at -3 or -4 before he got his dp. so actually if the seth would have jabbed instead of dp, he would have been good

it still doesn’t make sense because Seth’s HP DP starts up in five frames, the hit box as it comes out is amazing and there is 7f of invincibility (Yang’s has less and none during the active frames)
the game said it was a reversal so it shouldn’t have worked…i’m missing something
Say yang is -3 and seth does reversal dp. Yang recovers at frame 3 of seth’s dp (not active yet) and mashes his own dp.
Now seth’s dp has 2 more frames before going active and then 2 extra frames of invincibility (so 4 frames total). If you overlap yang’s dp you’ll see it outlasts the invincibility by one frame (5 frames).
