Pretty much my favorite track from the series so far.
When I first heard it play…I was willing to forgo story progression just to pick fights with random people on the streets.
I gotta catch up with this series at some point…3, 4, and 1 are just sitting here sealed.
Dead Souls is on its way.
I won’t lie I was against getting Dead Souls but if Y5 comes out late or no announcements for 2 months then I will consider it.
I actually saw Dead Souls for 20$ at Best Buy, there was only one or two copies left. Was broke, though.
I beat Yakuza 4 tonight and was satisfying like I was with 3. I spent more time completing most of the side quest unlike 3 where I kind of zipped through the story. But as for the challenges, some of them were a chore to do(eating at all those places, I barely went through half the stuff at Pronto and gave up, as well as the hostess challenge). Not sure if I want to get into Premium Adventures…maybe once I finish Dead Souls. I sure hope Yakuza 5 gets localized.

Anyone play Ishin? I’ve been waiting to get a PS4 before buying it, but it looks great. I had a lot of fun with Kenzan.
Right now I’m working on a platinum trophy for 5. Needless to say, it’s taking a long time, but I’ve never lost interest for a second. It’s definitely one of the best games ever made.
And, 0 is coming out early next year. I don’t think there’s a lot of info out yet, but sounds like it’s staying true to the series and I’m hoping for a playable Majima!
Damn you playing with a guide or you read/speak japanese?. And I still need to cop 4. I might do that next week. but damn the price spiked up

I did a bit of japanese studying earlier this year. I have books to study but I got LAZZYYYYYY AS FUCK. I was able to read about 20 hiragana. But the thing is to read Japanese you have to actually be kinda fluent in the language since each character is a sound. Unlike Chinese where each character is the word itself
Japanese is my second language. I haven’t had too many chances to use it since I finished college, but I still remember enough to play through videogames, haha.
I don’t think there are any translations out for 5 right now, but there is a nice completion guide on playstationtrophies if you’re interested. Do you speak happn to speak Chinese? The Asian version of 5 includes a translation guide in Chinese.
Also, concerning price drops, 5 and the 1&2 HD remasters will be sold as greatest hits starting in december. If I remember right the remaster will be $21 and 5 will be $35. Def worth it. I’ll be picking up 1&2 for the first time.

Majima is finally playable, but apparently his younger self is much different from the Majima we know. I guess young Majima is a serious businessman and young Kazuma is the jokester. I’m not sure how I feel about that… It’ll be hard to get used to and definitely disappointing not to be able to play as the Majima we know.
Although there is barely info out on zero, there is already a vote to decide which porn star will appear in the game. Not only will the actress become a hostess-like character in the game, but if she likes you enough, you’ll get access to a secret video (softcore)… I know how I feel about that–lame, Sega. Hostess clubs, massage parlors and boobie stares during table tennis/air hockey are as much pervy gaming as I can handle. No need for gratuitous porn vids.

Apparently those string bean bikini mud wrestlings too, and all whatever happens in those samurai ones. And yet idiotic media wanted to pick on suda51’s goofy games to further ensure it wouldn’t sell, like because they play videogames (terribly, inadequetely, & not until completion and write terribly about them) they can’t relate at all to going to a bar and looking at a woman/women do the same, standard human behavior all kinds of adults do. But can to a bald guy with paint all over him in hot tubs with actual naked women to press buttons harder and spittle a heart climax, some shit that sounds like what gets troped and exposed out of japan fan service games yet was in the “AAA”, god of war.
