Just bought this on ebay. I Plan to swap the sticks and buttons for sanwa ones and install 2 Brook UFB.

Is there a Guide on modding this stick?

Also, is there some place to get Game moves inserts for the stick?

it should be easy to figure out upon opening up and disassembly.

  • sub-boards are connected by jst’s to the main board, literally just unplug it.
  • you will need to de-solder the sub-boards mounted on the buttons.
  • the stock panel will have slim tabs similar to hori sticks, you will need to dremel/file it out in order to fit sanwa 30mm properly.
  • to use sanwa jlf’s you will need to use an S mount plate
  • if you wanna keep it stock saturn, you will have to solder or barrier strip the new harnesses/connectors for the sanwa parts (since they use quick disconnects/5-pin harness)

a shortcut but costly method is to buy a sanwa part “SEGA PANEL OOM-8-6AR-H” which is a full astro city 2player panel with sanwa parts.

@hibachifinal which switches are inside the stock buttons? Are they like the Alps switches found in the DC Agetec sticks? Thanks.

same buttons as hss-0136 yup

Full sanwa and brook ufb mod is done, I sacrificed both triggers for the start and select button, player 1 and 2 buttons is the home button for each player.
I did not wanted to cut holes on this beauty.
