I’ve seen people say on those X-Fighting sticks that if you peel off the sticker on the top layer it says Sega under it, and someone said Sega had a bunch of leftover parts with no PCBs and sold them off for someone else to use.
Maybe this is the same situation? Some company bought the extra parts and made cheap PCBs so they could sell it at a much lower cost? Sounds like a decent business idea.
Just bought two of those pads, hope they are as good as everyone says. I have been looking for a good PC pad.

If anyone REALLY doesnt like the triggers on the cheap one, you should be able to desolder the current switch, and put in another like the original model had. Oh, and remove that black foam crap. The molding of the trigger, and the placement of the triggers look identical.

For the record, the original eBay seller mentioned in this thread is “litianedup.”
There are two other sellers, “litianedup_wifi” and “compupter,” that have put up almost identical listings. I worked for eBay at one time, and it’s pretty safe to say that these are by the same person/company, and thus just as safe as the original seller. All seller locations are Hong Kong, and both accounts have good, honest feedback. Also, the original seller would’ve already had eBay remove and punish any plagiarism or impersonation violations if they were different people. I trust putting up my money that way… worst case scenario, you can open a PayPal dispute.
There are actually quite a few listings of these up now.
Just search for “sega usb” and go through them until you find one.
I think someone else already mentioned it in this thread, but there’s no need for us to bid-war each other here. I think the apparently success of his listings, auction-wise, is the reason they’re mostly selling only in doubles now. He might bump the price up a little if we keep throwing money at each other. Just drop a decent proxy bid maximum on a couple empty ones and wait out the extra two days or whatever.
Neat note: the (newer?) listings specifically mention GGPO in their descriptions. I’ll bet these things are getting popular in the KOF rooms, haha.

So it won’t work with PS2 games at all if you have BC.
