I am a new balrog player in the sf4 scene (went to my first tournament and went 0-2 ) and I am wondering if there any players who either go to UW or live in the u-district area. I would like to keep my skills fresh for tournaments down the road and it would be great if I could find some training partners since im sick of the street fighter 4 online experience. Holla back

I hold a casual gaming club meeting weekly at UW under the RSO name Console Freeplay. If you’re going to be at DawgDaze, I’m holding a small event there to just play games (SFIV included). I like to think of myself as at least decent at SFIV.
UW seems to be really Smash heavy though, which is disappointing since we used to have a strong MvC2 scene before the HUB arcade went really depressing.
I’m having a gathering tomorrow at 8:30… I live on sandpoint way, about 5 min away from uw.

Who me XD? I already graduated but I still work there so I can play a couple of games before I head off to work in the morning. Maybe even in the afternoon if people still stick around by then.

Dawg Daze event is at 1-4 PM on the Tuesday before UW starts, in MGH 271.
will there be sticks for sf4? or is it byoc?

The event is guaranteed to have a PS3 and Wii present, not completely sure about a 360 setup. I will have two sticks for the PS3, so treat them nicely if you come.
Keep in mind that this is a pretty open event, so don’t expect too many tournament-calibur players.
