Amazon seems to have been dropping the ball lately. A lot of packages that I have been sending have been showing up late. I get why they went into logistics, but come on! Their delivery team just does some really stupid stuff (e.g., getting to the drop site after hours despite being a business address). This time of year just seems to be rough for them. I frankly think they are focused more on capacity than the quality of delivering packages.

Just relax and we’ll work through it.
You guys buy the gifts and send stuff out in good faith. If there’s an isue after you did what you were supposed to, we’ll just deal with jt as it comes. That’s it.
Somw of you guus arw getting stuff hella early, some of y’all are getting jt later, but everybody is getting stuff. Everybody take a deep breath and enjoy your holidays.

As someone who deals with Amazon daily for work, yes they are fucking mess right now. Currently they are delivering packages to places they don’t go. Dunno why be we keep having to make them come back and retrieve stuff they shouldn’t have left with us.

USPS is on some bullshit too. My packages keep getting put into “delivery loops” when they go back and forth from a distribution center and a post office. As soon as I put in a lost package complaint, they realize it’s being shuttled back and forth and deliver it.
Funny thing is, I got an email this morning about a package this happened to in September that’s already been delivered saying they’re working on finding it or replacing it. Kinda hope USPS comps me it cause it had all the guts for a custom build, so essentially I might be getting a mostly free stick

USPS is a whole different can of fucked up worms, but yea they are some bullshit to. See the thing with USPS is they can’t fail and after 3 months it’s almost impossible to fire anyone, so there is 0 incentive to do the job well. They literally skate by.

So glad I have proof of purchase, usps is stating 24 days to post a small parcel within the US? I hope that’s worst case scenario… I suppose its not as bad as the item I got from Japan for my SS, no longer says 15th Dec but rather 30th Jan

International shipping is always brutal. Especially around the holidays because customs agents actually have to crack down and pay attention to what’s coming and going

ah yes,
the dreaded international shipping boss. I wish that the retailer I had ordered a bonus gift for my recipient from had Registered SAL, as that has a tracking number. Nope, their only two options was either base SAL or pay double for EMS shipping.
that shit had me fucked up for a couple days.

Int. Shipping is always a pain in the ass, especially on anything big, I once had to return a large device to the states for warranty and it cost me about 1/4 the price of the original unit hahaha
