And with Nick Fury coming back, Stark is gonna get the demoted back to regular ole business man and Fury will be back as SHIELD director again.
Though i still think that even though Fury will be the savior for this event, i still think theres gonna be more people that will help out the Earth forces. You still got Noh-Varr aka Marvel Boy who MIGHT be next in line to take the Captain Marvel mantel and somehow i also think some of the supervillians like Doom may factor in also. Cause i mean seriously if the Skrulls win, then everybody Superhero and villians alike get fucked over.

I still feel this is the worst major even to come along so far, I mean seriously when have the Skrulls ever been a threat to Earth? Maybe I read all the wrong books, but every Skrull encounter I witnessed had their current home planet destroyed or them getting their asses kicked.
Still, the new Heroclix set based on this could provide some cool Skrull hero figures, so I’m psyched about that at least.

I don’t think Bendis is gonna fuck with 30 years of continuity. I mean this Secret Invasion only goes as far back as New Avengers #1 and MAYBE Avengers Dissassembled.
Yeah Bendis needs to stick to making obscure characters vaguely interesting and teenage webhead soap opera’s. I’m a Bendis hater, so my opinion could be taken as biased.
From the sneak peak Sano provided I think the Skrulls going after Earth are a splinter group, under the command of some obscure villain from the past most likely. Either that, or a group of Skrulls planted here that don’t realize their planet of Skrulltopia was utterly destroyed, as was their empire.
I still can’t see why, if this is the actual Skrull Empire, the Skrulls are going after Earth. All our heroes can kick their asses, and it’s backwater territory anyways compared to the rest of the galaxy.

I’ve always liked the idea of the Skrulls (particularly Super Skrulls) and my favourite Skrull story is from the first few issues of Captain America Volume 3 when a group of Skrulls kidnapped Cap and posed as him saying that America was being invaded by Skrulls and people should defend themselves.
It was a good piece of social commentary on the growing paranoia against anyone from the Middle East.
i will totally avoid this arc
hopefully, hercules and capt. america will play a small part in it
so i dont have to worry about skrulls invading my other issues
