Okay I’m bored as hell and thought it’d be dope to do a search on Seattle tourney results and I’ve found some funny shit! I’ll post up the links to all the results that I found just to give people an idea of where everyone stood, as well as give people an idea of how big this scene used to be. This is thread is for fun, and for motivation to get things in action. LET’S GET IT!

Few things to keep in mind:
-Look at the frequency at which we had tourneys. I’m not really sure why there was such a wild gap of time in 2004 between tourneys. I think it was because that was when Evo was first announced to be console, and hella of us were like “OH HELLLLLLLLLLLL NO!” So we like stopped having tourneys or something.
-Apoc lived up here for a period of time so that’s why you’ll see him in a few tourney results.
-I have nasty placings hahah.
-Zach basically ran Marvel, and other people would run different tourneys. He recorded hellllllla Marvel matches from these tourneys.
-There were a lot of players that were able to play multiple games at a relatively high level.
-The players that would come up from Portland were, Rayblade X, Fatbear, Jackson Chen, Brian Jiang, Lawrence, Val, Jetay, SamB, just to name a few.
-The Olympia guys were mainly, Saige, Assquatch, and Mind_Reaver.
-Kennewick was Maverick, Bumbleberry, and Goose01010.
-The Canadians that usually came up for 3S were Tao, Kal El, and someone else I can’t remember.

Man, no A3 anymore. It’s so disappointing… I got to beastly levels with v-ism Ryu and akuma (gotta love that demonflip combo), but there aren’t any cabs left around here.:sad:

looking at those results realized just how crazy our scene was…shit i didn’t even know we were having 25+ ppl at most of the tournaments!! I think it’s time we brought it back!

Hard to get everyone out to the same place now that there aren’t really any venues.

I"m sure with enough time, and possibly compromise, we can get things going again.

I was at the first tourney listed!

Mandel has had hella screen names and I laughed out loud to the lil jon one in the nwr thread. ANGRY_BLK_MAN needs to make his return too.

My posts from back then are gross, skip them, of course if you’ve been skipping my posts then you wont even see this so you wont know to especially skip those posts but do it anyways.

There was a tourney I just looked at in particular that was nasty because I placed top 5 in CvS2, A3, and 3S but only got like 9th in Marvel, which is ultra disheartening. WTF happened that tourney??

No prob, hoss! Unfortunately, and this sounds ridiculous, I couldn’t FIND and transformers stuff. I looked everywhere. Only think I found was a master-grade Optimus for like 300$, T_T
