I’m not convinced about Lee. I mean, so what if he can do a grip of damage off wall combos? Lots of other characters can as well (Baek and Raven come to mind). What happens when you’re fighting on everyone and their mom’s fave stage? You know what I’m talkin about baby, MOONLIT WILDERNESS! I’ll tell you what happens, your opponent lives longer and thus you get fucked. I was getting hit by Lee wall combos all day, didn’t change my mind about him as a character one bit. I think he sucks, doesn’t do much damage imho. Oh and to answer the question that’s probably in your head right now as to why I was getting hit by those combos, is… because I suck.
The artist formerly known as Shin Contra-I’m still not convinced about Asuka either. Maybe you have the key to unlocking pandora’s box, which shows you the secret of higher Asuka play. When I used her, I ran into ugly situations where I can’t rushdown, but I can’t exactly turtle either. Her poke game isn’t that great, so wtf do I do in this situation? D/B+1+2? Sure I get +3, but what else? A d+1? Wooo d+1 till the cops come knockin. She does decent damage yes, but that aforementioned problem is a big one to me. What do you do about spam? Please don’t say reversal. :tdown:
But remember, these are the opinions of someone who isn’t good at Tekken. I started a few cards, all of which have losing records. And bad win percentages…HORRIBLE win percentages I might add. But I like to think that in a while, my opinion will mean something since I’ll be a much better player than I am now. Oh and feel special because it’s nearly 5 fuckin AM and I’m up making this post when I should be asleep. :lame:

To start off, I dl’d these matches from Texas, and Jinkid was using Devil Jin, and for some reason that shit was inspirational to me! So someday, I’m gonna bring back my Kazuya card AND get a DJ card. Ooh be on the lookout bitches. Also I got 2 wins with Ling and 2 wins with Julia and got promoted yesterday! I’m movin on up. Hey my records may be 7-45 and 2-10 but that don’t matter dog =D! I play some fierce competition everytime I play so it’s legit to me. What’s up with the lack of Wang usage around here? Guy’s supposed to be dope.
We got a new T5 cabinet here, thank god.
I can finally practice now without having to drive for 45 to and hour and a half.

PX just got the T5 machine and someone already broke the first player joystick, gotta love it.
Place sucks for competition, like that wasnt obvious but overall ive learned more just from playing and figuring out what does what and against who.
Im also probably the only person with over a 100 wins who is still a 1 Dan, people in the PX dont use the cards and I guess you dont get promoted just playing them or something.

My Julia is all red now. Damu ridah! My other costume has nearly all purple. I’m envious of people who win a lot cause man, it’ll take me HELLLLLLLLLLLLLA long before my Julia looks even bomber than she is now. Paris put a hefty dent in my Julia card, now I need like 2,3 good people less sessions to make up for it.
