Monkey King, at SBO the predominately Japanese crowd was cheering hardcore for their players when they would get key hits on Americans in ST and SSFIV and were mad silent for American victories. I guess you don’t watch sports where there’s a home team. Thanks for trolling though
What Gaijin posted about the 5v5 format was exactly the reason Fugee gave them about having the International players sit (Gamerbee preferred to rotate which team would sit through the 5v5)

This was a great tournament guys. I enjoyed watching the stream a lot and I definitely wish I could have been there for the experience. I was at evo2k10 and I must say that SB: Redemption was a lot better then Evo 2k10. It was just so much more raw and exciting and not having to be formal due to the media being around made it that much better, imo. Even if it was just 450 people (someone correct me on these numbers) vs the 2000+ ppl at Evo the atomsphere at SB just seemed better overall.
Also, people shouldn’t make excuses for Daigo’s losses when he doesn’t make excuses for himself. Whatever happened, happened and there’s no reason to look deep into it. Daigo is human like anyone else and is capable of being beaten like anyone else. He’ll get another chance to prove his skills and I know for a fact that his next chance is coming sooner than people think.
The American’s cheering for their players is nothing new and that’s what make rivalries fun. Daigo’s use to the chants and the screams I mean how many times has he gone over seas to tournaments and he’s been to how many Evo’s? He’s use to it and while it can be distracting it’s part of the atomsphere and you have to deal with it whether you are use to it or not.
I’m very happy that Canada performed really well with our team beating Team Gamerbee Fan and JSMaster taking out PR Balrog in a mirror and finishing 9th overall. The US can’t sleep on Canada for too long.

We didnt have an SBO yet with SSFIV to my knowledge? And if memory serves, the Americans didnt win a single match when it was vanilla in 09. Yeah Ive seen sports with a home team. Getting so hyped over someone else’s victory is just sad imo and it tends to lead to riots afterwards especially if its the final game of the season. I should know since I’ve had to survive a few of those riots.

I dont hate America (are you including Mexico and Canada?). I just really love it when fools talk so much shit but end up losing in their home court. Their tears keep me fed. Did you see the look on Sabins face when Gamerbee beat him? Priceless. And how quiet and salty the room got once Wong was out? Ill be honest… I came.
