Props to Checkmate and Wolfkrone for putting more of MI talent on the map. I’ll see ya’ll later today.
Monkey get off the dick…the dude hasn’t lost against USA when it counts
“SPIDEY PAD VIPER!!!”
Props to CANADA for placing decently well in a deep pack. Gerj NAgatz Kymah and J.Wang.
Props to Sanford Wong and Daigo for simply beasting.
Props to Fugee and Ghaleon for running an Evo Calibur Tournament.
Everyone needs to STOP HATING ON SOUL CALIBUR!!
I hope everyone here knows J.Dub (I think) is taking up SCIV, so all you guys can begin the migration. Heck we’ll even ban Hilde and RingOut Stages just for you haters.
“Salty”
Great event as always at a great venue. Thanks to everyone for coming out and showing support.
Then I’m guessing SB4 SFIV 3v3 never happened. I’m not on anyone’s dick but I see you’re riding Daigo’s just fine.
Real talk. Had no idea that MI was like that. Checkmate, Alucard, Wolfkrone, get at me when you guys are coming by Toronto, we’ll hook you guys up nice. I want Toronto/Michigan 5 on 5
It was suprisingly tolerable.
I’ll say it right now…I’m on Daigo’s dick and have been ever since I saw him beat Valle in '98…and every other American when it came down to a USA vs JAP scenario like the finals last night.
The 3v3 didn’t mean shit…Daigo has not lost against the US when it comes down to ‘the game that counts’…one time, period.
GS fugee and chris.
EC baby.
Eric kim is back.
what I don’t understand is… why do people care whether daigo is unbeatable or not… or whether justin is better than daigo… I don’t think even daigo himself care… he might come to US for the money (who doesn’t likemoney?) but it also seems that he was just trying to have fun…
people here talk in a way that make it seem daigo and justin hates each other… I read somewhere that they both got stopped by the cops for going through mcd’s drive thru window on feet… would they do that together if they’re enemies?
I nut ride whoever is organising the tournament and the people who stream for free.
I also think people who complain about the stream when it’s free are ungrateful children and deserve the fruits of other people’s work.
Is there any update on what the standings were for BlazBlue?
technicality. you all know what the dude is talking about. just like how justing wong is basically unbeatable in america overall, thats how daigo is. yes, they’re not psychic players, so they will lose, but overall, you can always expect them in top 5 at LEAST, and overall you can expect them to most likely beat players with lesser execution, knowledge, ect…, and it showed this weekend. wong ocv’d a couple times in the 3v3 for his team, and daigo did it the entire 3v3 tournament. not once, but every single team match they had, daigo had to do the work. besides wong, i know of no other u.s player that could ever pull that shit off. well sanford right now too.
so maybe unbeatable is not the best choice of words for the sensitive, but thats basically what daigo is, and basically what wong is in america. everyone can pick and choose close matches, and a few times he has lost. but is he the evo champ? yes. is he the sb4 champ? yes. did he carry his entire team in the 3v3? yes. did he crush wong first to ten? yes. is he the best in japan? no. its already been stated that due to the skill level of japan, and nature of the game, anyone can win on any given day. but did he recently just crush the fuck out of mago? yes.
there is nothing wrong with liking daigo. from what i have seen, and heard of so far, and im sure there are many players out there im not recognizing, but there are maybe a handful of ryu’s like daigos out there, because if there were more, they would be in daigo’s position, dominating shit. people like daigo because every time he steps on the sticks, you can be bound to see high level play from him, and extremely crutch shit. his matches are exciting. your not sitting there shaking your head wondering why someone didnt do ultra instead of spd, or why someone is doing random headbutts and random ultras.
truth is truth. the so called daigo fanboys can usually come off wrong, and extremely misinformed, but overall its understandable why he has fans. he is fucking good. its understandable why a lot of u.s players idolize japanese players, because they’re fucking good, and always have been. do i agree that some people should stop dickriding and get better. kinda. i mean, not everyone is playing fighting games like its gonna pay their rent tomorrow. some people just like to be decent enough to be somewhat competitive, and they are fine with that. so im not gonna tell them to shut the fuck up and get better. if anything good players should love noobs. theyre making your pot bigger at tournaments. what the fuck you mad about!!
there is no point in shitting on daigo fans, and no point in shitting on noobs. motherfuckers would be straight up fucking teary faced if seasons beatings only had 35 entrants instead of 260 for sf4, because people got sick and tired of the community. wongs good, and has beaten daigo before, and sanford has, and vegita x has. so fucking what.
As much as I dislike people that blindly call Daigo the god of fighting games, I also dislike people that continually try to put him down. Sure the guy doesn’t win all the time and maybe he doesn’t have the best reaction time, experience with console, etc etc. But I really don’t know of any player that is consistently as good as he is. There are a lot of players that can beat him and there are characters that do give him trouble, but in the end he still manages to win the majority of the time. So while worshiping the guy is stupid, it’s equally dumb to not call him the best. He sets the standard. Just my .02.
Anyone have any results on the money matches?
I posted the results near the top of the previous page, Ghaleon will most likely update the first post later
you got to say the guy is great for the game and people interested in the community eh Jimmy?
thanks!
speaking of nut riding or whatever, does anyone remember on saturday when that guy was checking Daigo’s buttons for him and it looked like a HJ on the cam? That was so wrong. I lol’d
haha yeah my stream froze at a point when it looked like Daigo was getting in to it
What that means
Well let me break it down to you what that means-
- You are telling yourself you will never be as good as him.
- You will never beat him because you treat him like Japanese Jesus.
- You will never take responsibility for getting good on your own…
4. You will always be a FOLLOWER…not a leader
It’s okay to look up to people and have inspirations, but if you take it too far you will never surpass that person, never amount to a top player, and that’ll be the end of it…
Now if you are fine with those circumstances that’s okay, but as a collective whole that’s what’s wrong with the whole thing…that’s why there’s only a few top players…because a lot of other people are sheep waiting to be guided by the Justins, Daigos, Sanfords and the likes…
RageMufc- Whats your basis for making that argument calling Daigo the best? Remember the term “best” is subjective. Best in the USA? Depends on what the term best describes…best in Japan? Nope…
So what’s the basis of your statement? People need to travel more and realize that the world is bigger than the USA and Japan…
