Sorry to hear about what happened to the GG players. The Guilty Gear scene has some of the nicest and most dedicated players I have ever met. No one has an attitude and they all do a ton to keep there scene alive, but for some reason they keep getting shit on. It’s really to bad. I hope that things can really turn around for them, because they deserve it.

I wanted to take a moment and thank Fugee for doing everything he could to fix a mess that was not of his doing. This tournament is everything it was hyped up to be. Fugee and his crew run a FANTASTIC event. It really is a shame that one little selfish piece of shit had to go and make what should have been an awesome tournament experience into a nightmare.
If there are two things you take from reading about this whole incident I suggest it be these two:

Give Fugee all the props in the world. He could have kept our money, told us we were Shit outta luck and it’s not his fault marn is a douche. But he completely worked with us and we literally had our money back within 10 minutes of telling him the situation. 6 hours to start a tourney, 10 minutes to fix 10 hours of a fuckup, that alone tells you how good this dude is. Fugee thank you so much for being a hell of a tourney organizer man. It is beyond appriciated.

I know Guilty is not the hottest thing here at SRK, but if you have any interest in the game at all, make it a point to blackball Martin Phan. Don’t talk to him, don’t play him, don’t bet him, don’t go to anything he tries to hype or get involved with tourney wise. If you run a tourney and he’s interested in coming, I actually suggest you consider barring him from competing. He is a cancer to what should be a fun event of games and gathering.
Thanks again to the tourney organizers, and I’m sure I speak for the whole GG community in regretting what might have been for this tourney, but at least now maybe once and for all this shit will stop.
