SE vs Sanwa buttons

Hey, everyone.

I wanted to ask what the main difference is between the SE buttons and some Sanwa ones. Most people say the Sanwa ones feel better, but question is, why? I’d test them out to see the difference myself, but I don’t have a stick with those buttons nearby.

Thanks.

PS: I was looking at some Sanwa OBSF-30 Pushbuttons. Thoughts, opinions?

“The Sanwa and Seimitsu FAQ” thread

The SE buttons are made of really cheap plastic and get “gummy” feeling after a good amount of use. Sanwa buttons use better plastic and feel completely smooth as you press them. They also last much longer and through much harder play (they are meant to be put in arcade cabinets, after all) without wearing down.
