I love how people love this guys dan if he doesn’t do a Sieko kick he doesn’t do a single combo in a match which is sad cause the jump kick into haduken into shoruyken combo on Dan is so nice and easy to pull off on a fireball spammer like this Akuma.

I really dislike when people have good enough tactics but still do cheap things.

I know, I have to figure it out whenever I run into someone that does certain things, but still… For example:

-Camping far away and waiting for time to run out.
-after being knocked down and in the corner when fighting Urien, they use aegis reflector twice in a row so your trapped.

I’m sure I’ll run into more.

Me, on the other hand, if I’m beating some to the point where I’m almost full and I’ve brought them into a corner, I back off. (what led up to this point is if they keep coming at me or they leave themselves open and my reflexes don’t think twice).

I try to be honorable when it comes to me being the better fighter. Just venting I guess.

Note: I don’t rage quit and leave a losing match.

It’s unnecessary overkill. If you’re gonna win anyways, why be overly cheap about it?

Call me a scrub if you want but I will always consider the double aegis trapped in the corner “cheap” even if I myself decide to do it against someone.

I find comments like this incredibly stupid:

I get what you’re saying tho Dave… If I’m facing someone really good and who could probably kill me in 2 seconds, I’d rather they pull off some stylish, tricky **** then half-ass it. Even if I knew there was a 0.1% chance of pulling out the win, I’d still give my best effort and try to feed off their knowledge/experience as much as I can.

I don’t think it’s cheap, just idk…I don’t learn much from it.

Why should a higher skilled player do something complicated or tricky just to make the person they beat feel better about the loss, especially when they can get a win with less effort because you’re just not wising up to it? It’s your responsibility as a player to learn from your mistakes, not for the player who beat you to teach you something. And if they can’t learn their way out of so-called cheap moves, how will they learn anything from some “stylish, tricky shit”?

Spiral stuff is a boring way to use her. She has better tools than spamming spiral all day. The amount of mind games she can play with her soul spark, croucing HP, and her ultras is really good. U2 could be made better but the buffs they gave her seem fair.

A character with no reversal shouldn’t be given a reversal because . . . it would be boring.

Difficult to get into. Put simply, this game bombed so badly because the inputs were so strict that the entire process alienated the average gamer, and the only ones who could perform a decent combo were playing it at EVO.
