Guess what, most people don’t want to work at getting enjoyment out of a game. FGC is in the extreme motherfucking minority here and you just need to accept that.
Some people just wanna roflstomp through a game session online against people… not thinking ahead of time that MAYBE, just MAYBE some of those mofos may actually want to do more than mindlessly play as they are doing.
Redundant to say, but it’s not just fighting games. I mean, look at the always popular shooters like Call of Duty(DOODY) and such, where it doesn’t take much to learn how to do stuff and go into multiplayer and shoot up people.
And even then, if you’re remotely better than the other person just by knowing the BASICS of competitive FPS (how to check your back, know of the good spots to pick off idiots easily, map control, map control MAP CONTROL), those same people are gonna bitch just as hard.
But most of those games also have a ton of team modes, so for some of those peeps, it’s also easier to deflect blame.
Fighting games you got no one to deflect blame to. But people still find a way and a (usually inane) reason. Hence this thread.
@“po pimpus” always bringing that unintentional comedy
I mean, just watch what Yipes did with Dante in this memorable GF against ChrisG
And if you can’t tell the difference between Daigo’s and NukleDu’s Guile now or even between Daigo and Tokido usage of Ryu in S1 of SFV you’re either blind or too jaded of FGs at this point (wich is probably the case here)
This is an honest issue… but it comes from game design rather than just optimization (hence why he’s a scrub and wrong in regards to MvC). It’s also a legit complaint about SFV compared to previous games, especially with how the balance has been handled
It’s still a scrubquote when he complains abour people nit using every move. It’s on the same level as spam complainers, or those who whinge about seeing the same combos over and over.
Also, optimization is prevalent now because we got YouTube and nobody STSFNs anymore.
The complain wouldn’t be scrubby if he talked about how SFV is a restrictive game that doesn’t really allow for much player creativity instead of what he posted.
