it being 7am and having not gone to bed yet it was as if i was struck by a muse and filled with scrubby knowledge on how i see things and such, and since i oh so love to see my words or hear myself talk, i felt the unfortunate need to share such musings from my short kaillera tenure con the captive srk audience
k first of all i am scrubby as hell, most of this is owing to the fact that during a series of matches with a person i DO NOT LEARN NOR ADAPT TO ANYTHING ex. while playing a certain “someone” in that ther vampire saviour game at the beginning of every match she (that kinda destroys anonymity a bit there) would do the same ducking kicky move that would hit me and my pathetic losering would start from there, now i would see this move at the beginning every time and since i wasnt winning she had no need to switch characters, so game in game out i was being hit in the opening, it took about 10 matches for me to finally figure out “hey maybe i should block that” and so on and so forth, thing is repetetive tactics kill the hell out of me because half the time i forget to think
hrrm… starting to get tired so i may as well attempt to make this kaillera subjected before bed
people using the same character-
its the only way people gonna get better yo, nuff said
ok maybe not nuff said, so here is a bit more longwinded answer
training mode is the bane of my existence, i just dun like it, so the only time i really get any sort of practice in is during playing hence the easiest way to increase skill is to keep using them over and over and over and over and over and over, after many matches of same character vs same character the fight can also tend to get a bit more… intimate (aww yeah) since after warm ups and rememberances and praps discoveries instead of merely a game it becomes more of an elaborate dance where the players know all the subtle nuances of each others style and work in concert, basically its just more personal, its no longer vega vs blanka, its boleslaw versus cuervo (apologies to the offended party here, but it was the only example i could think of at the time)
