well…i guess you had missed a couple of thread where many people around here wanted rose’s after-slide grapple to be nerf. i dont know you but when i take against rose, i have to fight her just like i brawling against other grappler. its kinda weird compare to alpha series.
Gotta say, I KINDA like the idea that she only loses one satellite per hit (unless it’s a throw then she always loses both). But having 3 of them would be way too good, and everything else he suggested is kinda dumb too.
The only lose 1 satellite per time she is hit would likely have to be tested of course, from a hypothetical standpoint I think it is an interesting idea but would still kind of suck.

and the animation should goes roughly this,
startup ultra animation: rose with her sexy pose showing her shaking hips and butt,
she leaps diagonal upward to the air and both her hand grabs her aerial opponent’s skull.
she absorb all mental energy from her opponent brain just like shang tsung’s soul fatality while floating.
she slams her opponent direct to the ground and lands.
(all frame and hitbox should a lil bit similar to THawk U2 but damage should be lesser than his)
what so dumb about additional ultra? gen has 4 different Ultra for god sake!

(i mean her super anti air from classic good ol’alpha series)…just to make it total of 3.
still can’t beat gen though.
and i think extra ouroburos won’t affect much overall difficulities.
i rarely bumped rose with ultra 2, but if i had a chance…that fellar sure got trashed out completely.
not only people have to time their pokes in between rose’s orbs to catch her but its unfair that if they succeed on hitting Rose, the 2nd orb might hit them after and have Rose punish even more after
IMO its a get it all or lose it all when it comes to Rose’s U2.
That’s why if they were to add changes to it, I would either:
Options 1:
and 3 more hitstun
add 25 stun damage
This will make people fear the ultra even more and she will have a chance to react and punish her opponent when the get hit by an orb while trying to poke her out of it.
Option 2:
add 3 more hitstun (optional)
Make it active on the 1st frame (surprisingly James Chen had the same idea as me lol)
So that she can use it on wake up and trades at the very least with her opponent and will allow her to combo from it after
Gen is the exception to the rule, with his two different stances. Everyone else has two Ultras and they don’t need more. There is no good reason to give Rose another Ultra. Maybe there isn’t an outright bad reason (I don’t really do AE, am I correct in saying this?) but… it’s unnecessary. Give her a real improvement instead.
On another note, lol at giving Rose another Ultra would count as being “Marvel.” Are all bad ideas called “Marvel” in this forum?
This game was not designed to have characters in motion with a shield around them. Losing one everytime she gets hit? The chip damage? It’s a complete “Oh crap I’m about to lose” active for a free win move. That’s why the damage is so low on it, that’s why it was nerfed in AE. Want to know where you can find similar moves? Marvel and Megaman games.
