Script Error On homepage

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and up until say a few weeks ago I had never received a script error on your front page stopping me from looking at everything.

So I went browsing around for a solution and I turned off the script error warnings and sure enough it came up again , and again, and again.

So I bought Norton Antivirus because I needed it and I figured perhaps it’d figure it clean my PC , maybe I had something wrong.

And sure enough it cleaned everything and it didn’t work. Even tried taking the script warnings off again and still no dice.

You guys have something going on with your homepage that’s stopping people like myself from going on. It’s really frustrating and it sucks because I want to see obviously what’s going on and now I’m reduced to eventhubs. Please help me out :confused: .

This is happening to me also. I love shoryuken, but tis is killing the experiance.

If you are using IE, look for my post at the bottom of “front page holds my browser hostage” thread for a fix. The front page still takes a long time to load up and I suggest right clicking anything you want to look at and opening it in a new tab so that you only load the front page once. This hypermonitization of SRK is causing the site to be a lot less fun/usable but the fix on the other thread does work. Hopefully the site devs reconsider this ‘new and improved’ SRK, because my best guess is it is driving off traffic. It is my favorite site but the recent front page problems have me spending more time at eventhubs and iplaywinner.

Thanks Jakelin but it didn’t work. I downloaded the Microsoft fix you got and everything. Still having issues. Come on SRK help me out please :frowning:

Wow, that really sucks. Sorry to hear it man. I thought since it worked for me it would be everyone’s solution. The problem description matched mine exactly.

I know right. Yeah well thanks anyway dude…sigh.

Its because of the facebook plugin. We are looking for solutions that fix this problem. Stay tuned.
