hey yall dun forget about my ptx now i admit my ptx is under yoshis but i would whole heartedly say im second best around.
fucking winsome though that yoshi won good shit bro!!! knew you could do it. and yeah people need to seriously stop complaining about giants getting old, i mean like other people say its just another matchup, and well me being a giant player can tell you its not easy at all to beat any of the counter pick stuff, we have to try, really really really hard to win. Even though yoshi may make it seem easy, its most likely not i remember even having a discussion with him about hard matchups and while we both know how to fight them we both said its not easy at all. Look what happened at the team tourney at evo, when he fought keits yoshi almost lost that tourney because keits knew what he was doing with his blade/ryu.
also i agree with what tron said bout saequo dude talks as if he knows everything show up and prove it otherwise stfu.
royal did a great job geting second i know he tried his hardest.
all in all great tourney, but people just need to learn the matchup. ptx is at best high mid tier. i also feel like im the ONLY person not really psyched up for mvc3 even though it plays like tvc…i still already like tvc hella better.
Of course you like tvc better…it has giant robots 
But real talk the argument is pretty old. Everyone has their opinion and is entitled to it (although some people change it like underwear). So why even bother with the tired shit. You’re never going to get me to like the giants at a competitive level and some of you will continue yelling “its a matchup blah blah”.
I’m friends with 97% of you and you know the type of person that I am and how I truly feel about this topic and I know your feelings as well so is there really any reason to yell over the interwebs.

The Scene Isnt Dying up here in Norcal, Hell alone in the East bay we have a good amount I didnt know CGyoshi was from Fremont ( Im out there all the time its a bitch drive but still east bay ) and Here in the 925 theres like me and… 4 or 5 other players learning. So instead of Bashing on the Giants just Maybe Have one friend who Learns how to play them and Practice. I mean it wont be AMAZING OMG I LEARNED HOW TO PW HM shit but you will get feel for him.
Its funny people complaining about the giants. Learn how to beat them or don’t play the game at all. Once MvC3 comes out you won’t have to worry about the giants. Good job norcal for winning the 5v5.
I dont want to learn how to beat mini bosses. I want them to pick real characters since it is a 2v2 game.

In another case, due to MvC3 dropping one month eariler than I expected, I’m thinking about another tourney (plus SoCal grudge match) around dec-jan. Would people be interested in making it to this one?

I feel like the scene is gonna die MAJORLY when Mvc3 comes out because of the community split like this. I mean imagine if SOMEHOW the community survives but then there is a split on Giants and No giants. Think of how that will push way people. I mean the Scene is already dead outside of California. LIKE hopefully with all this MVC3 hype people will see the similar Button layout and the mechanics that are in mvc3 and POSSIBLY for 3 months we will see TVC play but with the community split its gonna kill us. Right now it seems like Socals Against the Giants and Norcal is for them ( somewhat pun since SF Giants blah blah blah ).But hey If it dies I Im pretty sure none of us will care.
This is just me, but shortly after Zero was announced I started hearing more people talk about TvC and on a few forums I noticed people wanting to pick it up just to learn Zero…which is weird because I actually had no idea Zero was “that” popular

Whether or not this supposed grudge match happens, I’m up for anything. It just needs to happen while people still care for TvC and before MvC3 arrives in February.
The MVC3 Zero Seems still like TvC Zero but better, Like his dive attack seems to hold a combo, His 6C cn combo is launcher when before you needed an assist or BQ like in TvC. His Supers seem better, He has A Casshern style one, his Shadow clone seems the same BUT his Level 3 seems pretty good. His Normals Seem the SAME. I mean hes gonna be good but not that good cause it seems like scaling will get him in the end, But as all of us Know his command Dash Resets will hopefully be there lol
I’m in process of working out details w/ Tournament Legacy. Most likely I’ll get a TvC tourney in Dec, working on the date. I’m hoping at least SoCal + NorCal peeps come down for this!
