Just saw the movie in Toronto. 3s voice “Aww yeah! That’s cool!” Funny how the movie creds are 10x shorter than the downloadable game’s. Shit was cool though. But I wish Scott had a head but or stills special in the game like he does in the end of the movie creds.
How does game handle saving the 2nd player’s stats? My gf and I have played through the first 3 levels three times now, but we can’t get our character’s XP to save properly.
Should the 2nd player pick guest, or choose an account from another user account on the ps3? When she picks guest, only the character I leveled up on 1st player is available, the rest are all level 1. Then I tried creating an account on the other ps3 user account and I leveled that one up but it wasn’t available to choose when she was player 1 on her ps3 account… it’s very confusing, I don’t even know what I’m trying to explain…
How do I co-op? is it supposed to be nintendo hard where you just have to beat the game in one sitting? Cuz I remember having the patience/endurance for that as a kid but not so much anymore…
If the 2nd player chooses guest, then they use the 1st player’s data, but nothing the second player does is saved.
I read the manga which was cool. The movie was alright. I will NOT touch the game again…

Gotta say, after FINALLY getting around to see this, overall a great movie. The only lowlights I found were the Matthew Patel fight got a little stupid (though, translating this to movie form was impossible NOT to make retarded) and subspace was handled kinda dumb. The rest of the movie MORE than made up for these shortcomings. The pace seems rushed, but it works. Michael Cera hate I don’t get. Allison Pill looks cuter as Kim than she does normally.

finally got the whole series like 3 days ago. i’m on like book 5 right now. loving the fact that i somehow get the majority of the gaming references.
as for the game i’m still trying to save up for scott’s late fees for all my characters. anyone know what’s the easiest way to get the invulnerability achievement? i’m using the power of love cheat and i’m either getting shit thrown at me by those blonde guys who always just throw like baseballs or i accidentally hit an item on the floor and it bounces of the wall and hits me.

DLC is coming for the game…but it’s not an online patch
People in the comments said the DLC is supposed to be 1.99 and someone else mentioned that a DLC voucher is going to come with the movie. Don’t know how true that is though.
^there’s also a free patch that fixes freezing issues, etc. and also add drop-in/drop-out play. online co-op will never happen

I say that’s a public relations issue more than anything else, as some may have said already. I believe Cera did a perfectly good job of portraying Scott on screen, but apparently cinema audiences are [very] tired of seeing him for whatever reason.
I had beat the game a little while ago. I was expecting it to unlock a new character, move, areas, or something, but I got nothing.
