I saw it this weekend. I do not know anything about the comic it was based on, but I loved the movie. And yes, I even enjoyed Cera’s performance. Cannot wait for the BR release!

Has anyone unlocked Nega Scott yet?
Do you have to beat the game individually with ALL 4 characters or can you just beat it in 4-player co-op mode??

when trying to get the “eat all foods” trophy, do you have to do it in one play through ?
No, but some shops are kinda hidden. Ones I missed on my first runthrough were on the balcony section of the Twins’ stage; that clearing between the crowd of people on Negascott’s stage, and the section where you fight all the robots on the last stage. All of them have some kind of food item.

Saw the movie yesterday and I mostly enjoyed it.
Michael Cera’s performance was fine but at the same time I think he was a miscast for the role of Scott. After seeing some of the animated shorts and playing the game I had a differnet impression of Scott’s character then what was portrayed in the movie. Not reading the book at all some of the scenes felt like it was written just for the sake of Cera being able to play his awkward type casted self.
Enjoyed the music in the movie quite a bit. I loved the battle of the bands aspect and this is one of my favorite scenes from the movie:

Plus the actress who played Envy was quite hot in this scene.

Well…played the demo of the game…thought it was alright. My favorite part was probably the music. Now Anamanaguchi is like, my new favorite band.
I took some time to really listen to the Game OST that someone ripped and megauploaded, and although video game music hasn’t really been my thing since like 2002, I gotta say- I am a huge fan. Going to see the movie a second time tomorrow with my girlfriend- it is the first time I’ve seen a movie twice in the theater since the original Blade.
Yeah I’m going to see it on Friday with a group that don’t really know of Scott Pilgrim and all that.
Then we’re all going to play the game, haha.
