On another note, is anyone else having issues with the game freezing or locking up? I haven’t been running any downloads in the background or anything, either, but today a couple of buddies and mine were running through it and it froze up in the forest level right where you pick up that key and fight off those owls and wolverines. We had to restart because of it and lost a little progress, but nothing major.
Its just disappointing that this great game seems to have bug issues like this…
^ i have had the game freeze on me once. i have long loading times alot tho, also sometimes u get stuck in an area because there is still an enemy but he is on a diff screen so it takes awhile for him to walk over to ur screen. the game has some bugs. hopefully they patch it soon.
The movie was just too good, I’m glad I read the books and then went to see the movie.
Yes, Ramona in the movie was hot and Kim was sweet, but Knives Chau still has a place in my heart. Any girl named Knives is automatically #1 in my book :bgrin:
I was surprised they sort of fit all 6 books into one movie, I thought it was going to be a 2 part movie.
well infinite sorrow got mostly skipped and book 6 was essentially cliff notes in the movie. i think those two may be the biggest books in the series.
I read a few reviews that said they tried to cram too much stuff in but I thought it worked out since the movie was going for a frantic pace anyway. The only thing I thought was odd was the fleeting mention of Ramona’s subspace shiz.

I think it was only mentioned once in the movie, and even then if I wasn’t looking for it I probably would’ve not even noticed it. It would’ve explained a few things to movie-goers, like how she was able to pull that DK hammer out of her purse.
why would you explain that? thats part of the whole video game/anime vibe. there are certain things you dont explain because its just part of the world. like the pee bar or the one up. you just dont need to explain that.
True true. I guess in the grand scheme it didn’t need a deep explanation. I just thought it was a cool part of Ramona.
whats cooler is the hammer had stats…i really wish they put the lil extra rpg shit in. i thought those details were great.
The unlock character totally should have been Knives, but hey, not my game.
Anyone else think Ramona’s “pull a brick out” power was mad OP? Weapons do retarded damage at max stats and she’s just passing them around. 
Thats all I do. Find a good solid weapon and just hack and slash away! Since the Str and Speed stats also applies to your weapons.
Any weapons with long ranges are maddd cheap. i.e. Umbrella, Tripod, Sword, etc…

Haven’t peeped the movie yet i will this week. But omg if the game aint crack!!! River City has returned!!! Loving this game for reals!! the music is so Od i cant even discuss it. They worked magic on those midi boards.
The reason why this game aint online is because it would be the most broken game out right now. Shoot I haven’t even played with everybody yet.
?uestion when you max your stats will that carry over?? If i boot up the game with my maxed scott will he have the same max stats in co-op? Also
Do you have to pay that video late fee everytime you start with another character? Im trying to get those other charcaters maxed out also.
i hope im not the only one who feels this way, but yesterday i was thinking about all the hate cera gets and these were my thoughts
cera seems to get a lot of hate because he basically plays the same role in almost every movie he does. what i dont get is why hate him for that. actors like adam sandler have done that for years. and yeah adam has done some different kind of movies that explored his abilities as a actor and probably challenged him to leave his comfort zone for some roles, but when he first started staring in movies he was basically the same character, give or take a few things. no one ever gave him shit for it, people excepted it because it is what it is and those were the movies he was doing.
Cera i dont think has reached that point in his career yet were he feels like he can take on roles that are total opposites of what he does and is known for. i think in the majority of movies he has stared in he has done great at playing a role that he is good at. I think its too early for us to jump down his throat and judge him as this type cast actor when he hasn’t really had a chance to try new things. he has only been a releavant actor for a few years so i say give it some time.
I think in scott pilgrim he showed that he can expand his skills in acting, and try new things if given the chance.

During the first Gideon fight they play “We Are Sex Bob-Omb (fast)” and during the second fight they play “Death to All Hipsters.”
The first song is the same as the title credits, but played faster. “Death to All Hipsters” is once again the same song, but played even faster and with beeps and shit. I personally thought this was a reference to Street Fighter II, as the song changes in the same way that songs change when you are near death in SF II.

I also saw the movie this weekend, as well as the Expendables. Both awesome movies in their own way. I never even heard of Scott Pilgrim until a few months ago. I think I should get the books now lol.
The game kicks ass too. I’m writing a review about it on my blog.
